Tallinn Music Week

Held each year in Tallinn, Estonia since 2009, Tallinn Music Week is one of the most acclaimed new music and city culture festivals and key networking events for music and creative industry professionals across Europe. TMW’s core is an international new music festival and Creative Impact conference. The 3-day music festival presents brave new multi-genre acts from all over Europe and beyond in Tallinn’s best concert venues. The 2-day conference looks into the impact of arts as an engine for the economy while offering both inspiration and practical activities to music professionals, artists, entrepreneurs and policymakers from different areas. The festival’s side events cover art, design, public talks and various urban space activities. TMW’s music programme is acknowledged for its bold mix of the most unique talent across Europe and beyond with all manner of genres from experimental electronica to neo-classical represented. The line-up, selected from applications by a broad-based team of Estonian and international curators is presented across Tallinn’s best venues to an audience of around and industry professionals from around the globe.

Estonian National Symphony Orchestra Erso

The Estonian National Symphony Orchestra (Eesti Riiklik Sümfooniaorkester, ERSO) – a vivid and versatile orchestra who’s always striving towards excellence. The unique position in the intersection of cultures brings together Nordic, Western and Russian musical traditions. Celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2026, ERSO has become the most prominent orchestral ambassador of Estonia abroad, powerfully increasing its international scope particularly in recent decades. Since the 2020/21 season, its Chief Conductor and Artistic Director is Olari Elts. Neeme Järvi, the longest-serving chief conductor of the ERSO, continues to cooperate with the orchestra as an Honorary Artistic Director for Life and the Artistic Adviser of the orchestra is Paavo Järvi.

Scoremusicapp

Scoremusic has developed an innovative paper-free account-based cloud service for professional use that connects publishers and musicians all over the world, creating a marketplace for digital sheet music rentals and sales. The functionality of the software – an iPad APP for reading and annotating – is available for free at App Store. Scoremusic also has a web interface (app.scoremusic.me) for score management, via which sheet music in any groups, such as orchestras, choirs and ensembles, is handled centrally by a librarian. Thanks to the cloud service, all the annotations inserted by musicians are automatically saved, shared and synched within the group online in real time. Customers who rent sheet music via the Scoremusic marketplace can access the digital files during the rental period only. All the annotations will be stored separately in the cloud for future reference should the customer need the annotated music a second time.

Elukas

Elukas was founded in the fall of 2021 with the aim to write, record and perform original songs sung in Estonian. The first 3 singles were released in the fall of 2022 with 3rd single "Ajurünnak" being voted to the top 5 new songs in December 2022 by RockFM radio listeners and voted 3rd as Rock Anthem of the Year 2022 in the Estonian songs category. In February 2023 Elukas recorded 5 songs to be released as debut EP "Loomad Koos" on June 23rd, 2023. The first single from the EP titled "Vein" was released on April 7th and was voted to the top 5 new songs in April by RockFM radio listeners. On 12th May second single "Elukad" was released from the upcoming EP. In April the band also opened an e-shop https://elukas.art where fans can pre-order the EP and also order t-shirts.

C-JAM is a fresh musical concept involving four of the most talented Estonian cellists who are currently breaking musical boundaries in their native country, bringing new life to musical entertainment by incorporating catchy musical soundscapes into their unique style of performance. These four cellists blend well-integrated musical taste with sophisticated stage appearance producing a result that is both pleasing to the eye and pleasant on the ear. To put it more accurately, the result is a blend of classical cello quartet with improvisatory big-band, occasional metallic rock sounds and, of course, the soft strains of a warm cello sound. With a repertoire consisting of traditional mixed styles and musical periods-including Händel, Brahms, Wagner, Lloyd-Webber, Johann Strauss, Lennon/McCartney, the listener will be pleasantly surprised to find C-Jam's repertoire including such all-time rock favourites as Bon Jovi, Status Quo, Procol Harum, Queen and ELO just to mention a few.
