Slovak Performing And Mechanical Rights Society Soza

SOZA), executes international standards on copyright protection in the territory of the Slovak Republic. These rights have been applied on the international level since 1886 in compliance with the so-called Berne Convention. SOZA represents rights holders – authors, sub-authors, music arrangers and authors of written part of the work, i.e. lyrics, libretto, as well as publishers of those works. On their behalf SOZA monitors the use of musical works in the territory of the Slovak Republic, collects royalties and at the same time provides administrative, economic and legal services. Pursuant to authorisations of rights holders SOZA grants approvals for the use of the music to the users. SOZA is an independent society with legal subjectivity acting on its own behalf, collecting, managing and distributing royalties to the authors and publishers of musical works belonging to these subjects in compliance with the Copyright Act and relevant executive legal regulations.

Iscm - Slovak Section

The International Society for Contemporary Music (ISCM) is an important international network of members from around fifty countries, devoted to the promotion and presentation of contemporary music, founded in 1922. To honour the fact that ISCM started its history in Salzburg, Austria, and one of the founding members was then Czechoslovakia, the idea of cooperation between the Slovak and Austrian ISCM sections arouse. Austria and Slovakia for a long time belonged to one state, the Austro-Hungarian Empire. This gives the two countries years of common history, even though the historical experience thence gained might be different for each one. We would like to celebrate this unity and diversity alike through the topic of Gates – gates between the countries, their history and present, between the artists and audience, between the young world of musical apprenticeship and professionalism, between the known and the forgotten which exists in contemporary music… We are proud that the most important event in the realm of contemporary music will in the year 2013 originate from a shared effort and in the spirit of togetherness in the host countries.

We crafted it the way, so really everybody can have a go and play on it.*You can get good sound with high quality wood only* All kalimbas are made of wood, which has been naturally dried for several years. That is the main reason they sound so good. We never use industrially harvested wood. Our kalimbas are mostly made of walnut tree wood, which is characteristic with its soft and warm tone.*Masterful hand work* Our work is based on a pure craft. Quasars Ensemble

Quasars Ensemble, established in 2008, is a music ensemble, unique in its breadth of the repertoire consisting of contemporary classical music as well as of the music of the past eras. It confronts the latest contemporary works with the structural principles of the foregone classical music. The orchestra’s focus is on the introduction of rare and forgotten ensemble pieces, particularly by the Slovak authors. The ensemble performed concert works of some of the world’s most influential contemporary music composers such as Bent Sørensen, Michael Jarrell, Kaija Saariaho and Toshio Hosokowa with composers themselves in attendance. Quasars Ensemble cooperated with artists like Camilla Hoitenga (flute) Mario Caroli (flute), Dalibor Karvay (violin), Lionel Peintre (barytone) Sergej Kopčák (bass) and Stephan Loges (barytone). In 2012, Quasars Ensemble was selected to take part in International Summer Course for New Music in Darmstadt, Germany, considered to be the most prestigious contemporary music event in the world. In addition, Quasars performed at Música Viva in Lisbon, Arcus Temporum in Pannonhalma, at Warsaw Autumn Festival and at Ostrava Days Festival, among others. It had the honor to play at Flagey in Brussels and at Gasteig in Munich. In Slovakia, it is a regular guest at festivals such as Bratislava Music Festival and Melos-Ethos. Quasars Ensemble has a recording contract with Hevhetia Recording Company. Their album containing pieces by Schönberg, Albrecht and Hindemith, who are considered the founding fathers of the chamber symphony, was awarded with the most prominent artistic award in Slovakia – Krištálové krídlo (Crystal Wing). Harmonie, a prestigious Czech music magazine, gave their recording of the works of Mahler, Debussy, Albrecht and Poulenc its „Editor’s Choice“ award and a six-star rating.

Viva Musica! festival je už devätnásť rokov neoddeliteľnou súčasťou leta v Bratislave a jeho hlavnú myšlienku možno charakterizovať slovami „klasika inak“. Jazzy Fest

Jazzy Fest (f.k.a. Mikulášsky Jazz Festival) is the only jazz festival in the Liptov region with year-round production, gaining many fans, regular visitors, and supporters during its 20+ years of existence. It has become an established brand in the European jazz festival map. It is a platform for presenting artistically valuable and high-quality work and is an alternative to the ubiquitous commercial culture. Through its dramaturgical activities for almost two decades, it has sensitized society and promoted intercultural dialogue, cultural education, and mutual tolerance. Over the past 20 years, more than 280 musical projects have been presented in summer festivals and club concerts, including numerous workshops, jam sessions, photo exhibitions, etc. Remarkably, during the pandemic, the summer festivals were held without interruption every year. It is highly appreciated among musicians and the professional public for its unique atmosphere, varied dramaturgy, uncompromisingly high-quality sound, and its professional and human service. Cultural institutes of Hungary, Poland, and the Slovak Arts Council have long supported the festival. The festival's dramaturgy is varied and open to alternative forms, exploring the boundaries of the open artistic genre of jazz. On its 20th anniversary, the festival has the potential and a unique opportunity to rediscover and redefine its concept to create and highlight its unique "handwriting" within jazz festivals (not only) in Slovakia. Štátna Filharmónia Košice

História Štátnej filharmónie Košice (ŠFK) sa začala písať v roku 1968, prvý koncert odohral novovzniknutý orchester pod taktovkou šéfdirigenta Bystríka Režuchu v apríli 1969. Odvtedy si košickí filharmonici získavali uznanie odborníkov i verejnosti, koncertovali na domácom pódiu v Dome umenia, ale aj v kultúrnych centrách po celom svete. Na koncertnej mape ŠFK nájdeme Viedeň, Madrid, Lisabon, Hongkong či New York a ďalšie zámorské mestá z turné po USA, hneď tri turné absolvovali košickí filharmonici po Čínskej ľudovej republike. Pilierom programovej ponuky ŠFK sú abonentné koncerty z abonentných cyklov A a B. V ponuke sú i mimoriadne koncerty a koncerty pre mládež. V pestrej dramaturgii si prídu na svoje verní priaznivci klasickej hudby, ale aj tí, ktorí jej svet ešte len začínajú objavovať. Umenie košických filharmonikov si môžete vypočuť i na nahrávkach pre rozhlasové, televízne spoločnosti a hudobné vydavateľstvá. Na svojom konte ich majú vyše 160. Ako jediný orchester na Slovensku organizuje ŠFK tri festivaly – Košickú hudobnú jar, Medzinárodný organový festival Ivana Sokola a festival súčasnej hudby ARS NOVA.

Štátny Komorný Orchester Žilina Slovak Sinfonietta

ŠTÁTNY KOMORNÝ ORCHESTER ŽILINA (v zahraničí používa oficiálny názov SLOVAK SINFONIETTA) vznikol roku 1974 ako jediný orchester "mozartovského typu" na Slovensku. Odvtedy si získal významné postavenie nielen na Slovensku, ale v krátkom čase sa mu podarilo dosiahnuť vynikajúce renomé aj v Česku a inde v zahraničí. Orchester má 35 členov, prevažne absolventov hudobných akadémií v Bratislave, Prahe, Brne a Konzervatória v Žiline. Kvalita hráčov, skúsenosti i majstrovstvo prvého šéfdirigenta Eduarda Fischera umožnili rýchly umelecký rast orchestra. Jeho ďalšími šéfdirigentmi boli Jan Valta, Leoš Svárovský, Oliver Dohnányi a Simon Chalk. Generácia Rapu

Generácia rapu je internetový hudobný portál, zameraný na hip-hopový žáner, ktorý vznikol v roku 2016. Publikujeme novinky, recenzie, analýzy, rebríčky, promujeme hudobné koncerty a festivaly. Zverejňujeme a píšeme PR správy, staráme sa o PR a marketing ľudom z hudobného sveta. Sú to napríklad interpreti, producenti, beatmakeri, videomakeri, grafici.

Klub Priateľov Violy

Naším hlavným cieľom je urobiť tento svet aspoň o kúsok lepším. Organizujeme koncerty, pomáhame mladým umelcom, vzdelávame, propagujeme. Veríme, že hudba je najkrajšia vtedy, keď sa človek zúčastňuje na jej tvorbe. Aktívne podporujeme spoluprácu s amatérmi, lebo hudba sa dá robiť aj pre radosť.
