Caribbean Science Foundation
The mission of the Caribbean Science Foundation (CSF), headquartered in Barbados, is to assist with the diversification of the economies of the Caribbean Region by harnessing science and technology for economic development, thereby helping to raise the standard of living. Specifically, the CSF is: 1. Accelerating education reform that supports technology‐based entrepreneurship by:(A) Promoting and offering STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) programs including robotics camps and computer coding workshops for Caribbean youth (B) Offering business and entrepreneurship education programs for Caribbean youth (C) Carrying out STEM teacher training exercises in the Region (D) Enhancing the communication skills of the youth in CSF programs 2. Stimulating technology‐based entrepreneurship by identifying and funding science and technology projects in new and existing enterprises that are relevant to the economic development needs of the Region, and 3. Providing scientific and engineering advisory services to Caribbean governments by working with the Caribbean Diaspora for Science, Technology and Innovation (CADSTI) to leverage the expertise that resides in the Diaspora.

The Bajan Dream Project
The Bajan Dream Project is a nongovernmental, social development programme based in Barbados. We promote sustainable livelihoods by providing a tailor-made, holistic intervention for disadvantaged individuals - particularly young people and individuals living in poverty. Our unique intervention focuses on skills training, sensibly targeted funding and social support as a means of achieving economic independence. Our main areas of provision include a mix of the following, tailored to meet the needs of each participant on the programme: Certification training to facilitate entry into the workforce, or into tertiary education Entrepreneurial skills training leading to business ownership Micro loans to finance short-term shocks Credit to finance business start-up and operation Low-cost housing solutions for programme graduates and eligible persons¹ Partner provided support services in mentorship, care or other welfare assistance The Bajan Dream Project also provides a number of standalone, ad-hoc services on request, including: Microloans or grants for educational fees, supplies and related costs Business plan development, with marketing/PR support for new entrepreneurs Employment agency services for first-time job seekers and zero-income persons Legal assistance particularly in business registration and landlord/tenant issues Representation of persons living with HIV in discrimination & access to care issues On a broader scope, the Bajan Dream Project is an advocate for the civil and human rights of all Barbadians, monitoring closely the extent to which Barbados meets its obligations under international charters. This blog coalesces all aspects of the Bajan Dream Project’s agenda, agitating against the policies which hinder social development while promoting those which encourage equal rights and a fair chance for all to live the “Bajan dream”.

Disaster Risk Reduction In Coastal Area
Disaster Risk Reduction in Coastal area work at community group for their capacity building with triangle method:(1) Disaster Preparedness (Regular Meeting for awareness for safe water, Latrine, and tube well repair. Create contingency fund, CIDRR & Livelihood Training, House repair, Provide First Aid kit box, Tube well toolbox, house repair tool, etc.)(2) Emergency response (Relief, House repair, Build a model house, Tube well, Latrine)(3) Income generating (Savings, seed distribution, cattle, and poultry distribution) Have experience in providing Agriculture and Livestock training for farmers, Comprehensive homestead gardening to ensure food security and nutrition, Small Business, Capacity building training for youth. Rehabilitation and Infrastructure Development. Have Long time experience provide/conduct various training/workshops for beneficiaries/stakeholders at Union/ Upazila/ District level on Early Warning, Search & Rescue, and First Aid, DRR, CMDRR, CIDRR & CCA, WaSH, IGA, Education in Emergency for SMC. I have been working with DG, CBO, VDC, FDMC, UDMC, UzDMC, DDMC, NNPC & WaSH committee, CPP volunteers, GO/NGO.
