Bosnian Representative Association for Valuable Opportunities (BRAVO) is a non-profit and non-governmental organization. The things that make this organization outstanding and ready to assume responsibility are core principles: tolerance, democracy, diversity, voluntariness and openness. Our teams are working in the following fields/topics: Human Rights, Anti-Trafficking, People with disabilities, Reproductive health and STDs, Gender Equality and Combating Gender-Based Violence, Sports on a daily basis, Audio and Video production, People with fewer opportunities, Organizing events, Entrepreneurship, IT and ICT, Technology, Humanitarian actions, National and International projects, Support in fight against Criminal and Corruption, Accelerating start-ups, Industry 4.0, Entrepreneurship, Project management, Refugee and Migrants, Creative Actions, but at the same time we are working on publishing books, brochures, newsletters, flyers, affiliations and other publications and a lot of others activities. Our general target group is youth within the age of 15 to 35, but we focus on all people in need of help and our support. Bearing that in mind, we say that we care for people from 3 to 103. The focus of our organization is on international projects, including all sectors and topics above, but at the same time working with people with fewer opportunities and taking care of European values and principles. We are working with institutions for people with disabilities such as institutions for Deaf and Blind people. Through our activities, in cooperation with institutions and organizations led by people with disabilities, we are teaching silent language and do sports activities with blind people. At our projects as coordinators or hosting organization, we love to bring participants in one of these two institutions and give them an opportunity to learn something totally new. OUR ACTIVITY Since 2005 Independent System Operator in Bosnia and Herzegovina (NOSBiH) manages the entire BiH transmission network (400 kV, 220kV and 110kV included voltage levels) with the aim of ensuring continuous electricity supply by the defined quality standards for the welfare of its citizens. THREE MAIN FUNCTIONS NOSBiH is a non-profit company in Bosnia and Herzegovina owned by the two entities, the Federation of BiH and the Republika Srpska. It carries out its activities in the territory of entire BiH. The work of NOSBiH is regulated by the State Electricity Regulatory Commission (SERC). These are the main roles and responsibilities of NOSBiH- Managing the work of all high voltage transmission facilities in Bosnia and Herzegovina at voltage level of 110 kV or above- Managing the balancing energy market in Bosnia and Herzegovina- Determination of Indicative Generation Development Plan; review, approval and a direct revision of Long term Transmission System Development Plan.

Centar Za Edukaciju Mladih - Cem

Center for Youth Education (CEM) is the most active youth non-governmental organization in Central Bosnia Canton, and one of the most active in Bosnia and Herzegovina, located in Travnik. The organization has been active since 1998. and works in four main fields. The first one is youth work, aimed to empower and support young people to become aware, responsible and active members of their communities and motivate them to reach their full potential. The second work field is education, where we provide educational programs, based on non-formal education, to the young people, they are not able to attend within the regular educational system and the topics they don’t regularly deal with at schools (violence, alcohol harms, sexual health, etc.) We also care about the right of children, youth and women, so we actively advocate towards government and other decision makers to protect and improve their rights, in order to create healthy and safe environment without alcohol, drugs, tobacco and violence. And the fourth field of our work is employment, aimed to developing the entrepreneurial spirit, empowering, supporting and motivating young people to develop their business ideas, making them profitable, so they can make their living and employ other people. Our programs directly involve around young people, and the number of indirect beneficiaries is over annually.

Ecommerce Asocijacija U Bosni I Hercegovini

Prva smo Asocijacija za eCommerce u BiH, nastala početkom 2021. godine, s ciljem zastupanja eCommerce zajednice, zaštite prava i interesa trgovaca i potrošača, te stvaranje i razvijanje pozitivnog poslovnog okruženja u području e-poslovanja. GS1 (Global Standards One) je neutralna, nevladina i neprofitna organizacija koja razvija i održava globalno najrasprostranjenije i najviše korištene standarde za efikasnu poslovnu komunikaciju. Najpoznatiji smo po barkodu, koji je BBC nazvao jednom od "50 stvari koje su izgradile svjetsku ekonomiju". Djelovanje međunarodne organizacije GS1 usmjereno je na unaprijeđenje poslovanja, što se postiže kroz sistem GS1 standarda koji se koriste u 25 različitih sektora privrede i usluga. GS1 standardi poboljšavaju efikasnost, sigurnost i vidljivost lanaca snabdijevanja širom fizičkih i digitalnih kanala. Među standarde koji su najviše zastupljeni na tržištu ubrajaju se: barkod brojevi za automatsku identifikaciju proizvoda, usluga i lokacija (GTIN/EAN i GLN), globalni standard za sljedivost (GTS), eCom, EPC i dr. GS1 u brojevima: 112 lokalnih, nacionalnih GS1 organizacija koje djeluju na svim kontinentima; 1,5 milion članica/kompanija koje koriste GS1 standarde u svom poslovanju; 6 milijardi transakcija svakoga dana, koje su potvrda da GS1 standardi osiguravaju zajednički jezik koji podržava poslovne sisteme i procese širom svijeta. Regional Education And Information Centre For Sustainable Development In South-East Europe - Reic

REIC is non-profit, non-governmental organisation founded in 2005. Located in Sarajevo, lunched as integral part of the regional training project scheme (EESD - Environmental Education for Sustainable Development) for the Adriatic-Ionian basin. The project was funded by Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, implemented by UNESCO-Venice office in partnership with University of Sarajevo, University of Bologna and Institute for Central, Eastern and Balkan Europe. REIC is set up as a nucleus for environmental education and the regional integration practices. Main objective is to identify environmental problems and needs, along with enhancement of educational initiatives. REIC is situated in Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina) but its operational span covers region of Southeast Europe - SEE (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, FYR Macedonia, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia) in cooperation with international networks.

Giro di Sarajevo is a civic society with one goal only: to make a city of Sarajevo a cycling-friendly city. We started in 2008, and since now we did more than 50 various projects that made a difference. Sarajevo now has a first kilometers of cycling paths, and we are continuing our efforts to push a government to build cycling infrastructure - more and better. On our own, we are building a cycling parking lots thorough the city, and in the last three years, we managed to become one of the most organized cycling clubs in the Bosnia and Herzegovina, with champions and vice champions both in MTB and road cycling range, and our riders also made it to the national team. The goal for us is one and only: To go forward.

Bih Color Festival

BIH Color Festival je nastao kao odgovor svakodnevnici. Koncept festivala se zasniva na bacanju boja u prahu na svaki okrugli sat. Trudimo se iz godine u godinu biti kreativniji i inovativniji, unapređujući dnevne sadržaje, kao i samu produkciju događaja. S obzirom na povoljnu epidemiološku situaciju, te na mjere koje je ukinuo krizni štab, festival će se održati 20. i 21. avgusta 2021. na poligonu za obuku vozača u Brčkom. Sve ulaznice kupljene prošle godine, važe i za ovu. Na festivalu 2021. godine donosimo mnogo noviteta što se tiče muzike. Obećavamo vam preko 10 vrsta boja, koje se broje u tonama, kao i mnoštvo zanimljivih sadržaja koji će upotpuniti festivalski užitak. Naš događaj je posjećeniji iz godine u godinu, a ove godine možemo očekivati i najezdu ljudi iz inostranstva budući da nam stalno šalju poruke i interesuju se za događaj. Sve je to zahvaljujući ljudima koji su od samog početka uz nas i vjeruju da možemo jednog dana biti jedan od najvećih festivala u regionu.

Center For Nationalism Studies

The Center for Nationalism Studies (CNS) is a non-profit think tank that provides in-depth analyses of social, political, and geopolitical phenomena caused by or related to nationalism. Since its onset, nationalism has been characterized by paradoxes: the more nationalism has dominated modern political discourse, the less it has been adequately explained by relevant academic circles. Indeed, the more that nationalism’s departure from the historical scene has been predicted, the more it has been returning with an ever-growing strength. Our goal is to open up, explore, and where possible resolve these paradoxes – and through doing so locate the place of nationalism in the modern world. To achieve this, we use innovative methods and cross-disciplinary scholarship in rigorous analyses of the most significant global, regional, and local developments. Our members carry out their research and day-to-day analyses supported by a variety of external sources in order to broaden critical perspectives on nationalism’s role in political and international affairs, both historically and in the contemporary world. Eestec Lc East Sarajevo

EESTEC (Electrical Engineering Students’ European assoCiation) is Europe wide association of electrical engineering students, also the largest international project by students of both electrical and computer sciences. It is non-government, non-profit organization, formed in Eindhoven, Holland in 1986. In the year of 1995, headquarters were moved to Zurich. In the present, administrative headquarters are based in local committee in Delft, Holland. East Sarajevo Local Committee is a member of Electrical Engineering Students’ European Association – EESTEC since the year of 2005 and currently has over 50 members. Through our existence, we organized 7 international events, with a goal to give local and foreign students the opportunity for technical, personal and professional improvement and stimulate the knowledge of other cultures. Through our exchanges and workshops, East Sarajevo was visited by 150 students from 25 European countries. The best testimony about the positive image of our city, which many brought back to their homelands, is in the fact that many are actually returning for participation in our other events, or at least to visit colleagues and further strengthen their friendships.

Initiative Group Alpbach In Sarajevo Igas

IGAS is a nonprofit and non-political organization, founded in 2007 in Sarajevo, as an associate member of the European Forum Alpbach (EFA). The main task of IGAS is cooperation with EFA and promotion of the EFA Scholarship Program to students in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Together with our partners we are also providing additional scholarships for EFA for Bosnian students and actively contributing to the EFA program, by organizing different cultural events (exhibitions, movie screenings, fireside talks etc.) in Alpbach. In that way we are promoting Bosnia and Herzegovina and our young, educated and talented people in Alpbach, but we are also trying to promote Alpbach values and Alpbach spirit in Sarajevo. We organize various activities in Sarajevo, such as the Beyond Forum Alpbach: Sarajevo World Café and the British Council Active Citizen workshops.
