Global Hope Network International
Global Hope Network International (GHNI) is a non-profit, private humanitarian aid organization who believes that it is possible to bring not only hope, but change, to the poorest villages of the world. We help those communities become strong and independent, by learning to transform themselves, so they can move away from perpetual poverty and despair. GHNI began through a project in to help an Afghan refugee camp in Pakistan. This effort made such an impression on the nearly three million refugees that stories are told all over the region of the big hearts of our small team. That first project set the stage for additional work and the official launching of Global Hope Network International, “Bringing help and hope to the hidden and hurting.” Since then, over 100 other projects have opened doors for us to bring sustainable and transformational assistance to communities in Afghanistan, Jordan, Iraq, Iran, Sudan, Kenya, Ethiopia, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Turkey and many others. And through all of that we learned our method of Transformational Community Development. The vast, hidden majority of the world’s poorest people live in rural villages where the vast majority of assistance never reaches. GHNI believes that it’s possible to bring not only sustainable transformation to these people, but also the accompanying hope of a better future, free from the perpetual cycle of poverty. Village Transformation: Our core focus is helping villages transform themselves sustainably and holistically through our coaching-based method of Transformational Community Development. Disaster Relief: We often begin in an area by providing carefully targeted Disaster Relief in war zones or following natural disasters. Leadership Impact: Finally, we help equip national leaders in developing nations with ways to support transformation at home through our programs of Transformational Leadership Development and our Geneva Institute for Leadership and Public Policy.

Swiss Supply
The national supply of procurement, logistics, storage, transport and forwarding as well as waste management and recycling forms a systemically relevant backbone of the Swiss economy, and not just since the coronavirus pandemic. In Switzerland, every fifth person, i.e. a total of over one million employees, works directly or indirectly in this sector. Despite this central importance for the economy and the population, their contribution is underestimated. The sector’s reputation needs to be improved, as there often is a lack of knowledge about the diverse job profiles and career opportunities. On the occasion of the successful implementation of the “Experience logistics!” exhibition at the Swiss Museum of Transport in Lucerne, the desire to join forces was expressed. In order to improve the reputation of supply, logistics and transport in Switzerland in a joint, committed and sustainable approach, seven organisations founded the association, SWISS SUPPLY. By joining forces, existing initiatives are to be strengthened and new joint activities launched. The aim of the new association is to promote the reputation of supply chain, logistics and transport in Switzerland by informing and educating the public about • the fundamental importance of value chains • the contribution of the sectors responsible for the supply of goods and waste management/recycling to the economy and society, and • the variety of job profiles and career opportunities within these sectors and functions. Ceas - Centre Ecologique Albert Schweitzer

Hqai - Humanitarian Quality Assurance Initiative
The Humanitarian Quality Assurance Initiative (HQAI) is an independent auditor for the humanitarian and development sector. The standard we use is the Core Humanitarian Standard (CHS) on Quality and Accountability. Our auditors verify that organisations correctly apply the standard from the head office to the field. The audit starts with document reviews and interviews at the head office. Then we visit a selection of country programmes where we interview staff and partners, but most importantly talk to the people who are affected by crisis. We actively ask for their views and take them into account for our reports and feedback to the organisation. Our objective: collect evidence and measure efficiently where an organisations stands in relation to the CHS, where it excels and where it can improve. HQAI’s auditing services are intended to systematically improve the quality and accountability of humanitarian and development work: organisations learn throughout the audit cycle. We provide an objective assessment of their performance and help them to credibly demonstrate the quality of their services. This builds trust with stakeholders - including institutional donors who increasingly recognise and recommend HQAI audits. And most importantly we ensure that organisations put vulnerable people at the centre of their work. Watch these benefits in a video. HQAI is a professional auditor and applies the internationally recognised ground rules of auditing and ISO standards. In other words: HQAI is an accountable, open and trustworthy partner.
