Sumokids Foundation
We are a new and exciting venture that gives youth the opportunity to learn the sport and history of Sumo in order to participate in the ‘Battle of the Sumorai Mascots’ competitions, which are modified sumo wrestling tournaments! During these competitions, we give 7-to-17-year-old boys and girls the opportunity to take part in the production of a live-action CGI motion-capture animated cartoon series. In addition to being competitors, our students can assume a variety of roles, from filming to producing and to writing segments of the show. They can also be judges, referees, dancers and singers! We are the only show around where youth have such a unique and thrilling opportunity, and we invite you to join in the excitement!
