SPM – Security Paper Mill, a.s. is the leading and oldest manufacturer of stationery and special types of paper and cardboard in the Czech and Slovak Republics. The company was founded in 1997 by Czech shareholders and builds on more than 50 year-old tradition of security paper production. Security paper contains various types of protection against counterfeiting used to protect documents. Currently, the company produces more than different types of security paper with different technical specifications according to customers’ requirements. Among the main products there is paper for passports, ID cards and driving licenses, tax stamps, shares, travel tickets, postage stamps, checks, bills, vouchers, entrance tickets, a range of certificates and many others. The high and guaranteed level of production quality is appreciated not only in the Czech market, but also in the most developed markets of European Union countries, where the majority of production is exported. The export reaches 90% of the total production and the goods are exported to over 70 countries. BYLA ZALOŽENA V ROCE Se svými výrobky pod obchodní značkou BIG SOFT se stále více prosazujeme nejen na českém trhu, ale i v zahraničí – především na Slovensku, v Německu, Rakousku, Bulharsku a Pobaltských zemích. Celková plocha areálu činí 50 tis. m2. Zastavěná plocha – budovy činí 15 tis. m2. Počet zaměstnanců k 11/2020 činil cca 95. Provoz dvou technologicky identických výrobních linek na produkci toaletního papíru a kuchyňských utěrek. Skladová kapacita paletových míst. V roce 2018 společnost mohutně investuje do výstavby nové skladovací haly a nové výrobní linky, která byla v závěru roku instalována byl zahájen zkušební provoz. Od druhého čtvrtletí 2019 byla druhá výrobní linka uvedena do plného provozu. Touto strategickou investicí společnost zdvojnásobila výrobní kapacitu a využitím synergických efektů provozu obou linek dochází k významnému zvýšení efektivity výroby. V roce 2020 se Moracell stává součástí skupiny Velvet CARE. Jedná se o významný krok v propojení strategie skupiny Velvet CARE a vybudování stěžejního postavení ve střední a východní Evropě. Nová spolupráce přinesla výměnu znalostí a zkušeností ve výrobě a obchodu.
