State Opera Varna
The basis of the Varna Opera consisted of an opera troupe and a symphonic orchestra, founded on 1 April 1946. A year later, on 6 April 1947, the Varna Opera was created. Its first managing director was Stefan Nikolaev and its chief artistic director was the great Bulgarian tenor Petar Raychev (1887 – 1960). He was one of the first generation of Bulgarian singers with a world – renowned career. Having graduated with honors from the Moscow Conservatory, he improved his vocal technique in Italy. He performed at La Scala in Milan, the Vienna State Opera and the Metropolitan Opera. The premiere of The Bartered Bride by Bedrich Smetana, conducted by his son Ruslan Raychev on 7 September 1947, marked the beginning of the professional opera art in Varna. The troupe was joined by Choirmaster Dimitar Mladenov and Ballet – master Asen Manolov, artists Asen Popov and Vladimir Misin, a soloist group, a choir and a ballet. Till now the Varna Opera has staged over 200 productions, nearly spectacles for an overall audience of almost three and a half million people. The repertoire is rich and diverse. It encompasses a significant part of the opera heritage of the 18th and 19th centuries, as well as contemporary works. Among the works performed for the first time in Varna are: Cosi fan tutte by W. A. Mozart (1960), Cert a Kaca by A. Dvorak (1961), Betrothal in a Monastery by S. Prokofiev (1962), Albert Herring (1964) and The Beggar’s Opera by B. Britten (1982), Norma by V. Bellini (1972), The Golden Cockerel by N. Rimsky – Korsakov (1973), Ariadne auf Naxos by R. Strauss (1975), La cambiale di matrimonio (1977) and Il turco in Italia by G. Rossini (1988), Oedipus rex by I. Stravinsky (1995), ballets Spartacus by A. Khachaturian (1977), Arabian Nights by F. Amirov (1983), Le comte Ory by Rossini (2011) and many others.

180 - Laboratory For Innovative Art
180° - laboratory for innovative art is a seven-day event that brings together European and international artists from the fields of contemporary classical music, electronic music, contemporary dance, visual arts, experimental theatre and architecture with the main objective to challenge them to debate, ideate and experiment despite their widely different mediums and to go beyond their own social background, artistic and physical borders. We are proud to have built a rich artistic network and have fostered collaborations still in existence today. Within the history of art, most artists have experienced a constant struggle with one of its main questions - “Are we making art or a product?”. Nowadays we are surrounded by various formats created according to certain society-determined criterias in order to easily fit into labels and categories. Often those criterias are forcing us to change the artistic vision in order to fit in those categories and we ask ourselves “What would give brighter popularity or sell more?” rather than taking a risk with an innovative idea. We strongly believe that the key to advancement comes from the risk takers and this is why we provide our artists with an environment that allows them to explore and go outside of the box.

Salsafans Dance Studio is a non-profit organization which fosters and promotes the study, practice and appreciation of dance in Sofia, Bulgaria. We specialize in Swing, Salsa, Cha-cha-cha, Bachata and Wedding Lessons. We offer a full range of private lessons, group classes at all levels, one-day crash courses and workshops, and introductory packages. We prepare social dancers for having fun at casual evenings out, special events, or even their own weddings. Salsafans team are people that are dedicated to promoting dancing, especially salsa culture, music and dance. We dance and perform. We can choreograph your “special” dance. We can create and facilitate your “art” teambuilding. Our emphasis is on having a good time, but we are professionals.

It started out as a contemporary/modern dance company with its own repertory, and later established the annual contemporary dance festival 'Dance Routes'. Art Office Foundation
Art Office is registered as a foundation for public benefit engaged with the promotion and circulation of non-commercial productions of the performing arts (theatre, dance, and music). It works with Bulgarian artists and their artistic production and has activities in Bulgaria and abroad. Art Office also provides educational services, organization of cultural programs, consultations, and implements surveys and studies. Its most important long-term projects are Art in Motion (a small grants scheme for touring within Bulgaria) and the US/BG Artistic Exchange Program, which stimulates the contacts and exchange between young and emerging artists from the two countries. In 2022, Art Office celebrated its 15th anniversary.

Théatro е най-новото театрално пространство в София. Открито на 14 януари 2017 г. със спектакъла „Секси пране“ от Мишел Римл, режисура на Димитър Бакалов.
