Rask Collective
RASK is a collective of young Icelandic artists that work at the intersection of art and technology. Our objectives are: To make media art accessible To explore the boundaries between different art forms To promote technological development in arts To create a collaborative network between artists of different disciplines To offer a platform in Reykjavik for experimentation and new media art RASK was founded in 2015 by Jökull Máni Reynisson and Sóley Sigurjónsdóttir with the main objective to create sound generative dance performances. As a duo, they have been active in collaborating with artists of various backgrounds to further explore the possibilities in the utilization of technology as a creative medium. RASK was a part of Creative Summer groups in Reykjavík in 2017. Since 2019, RASK has been working as a collaborative platform and event series happening in Reykjavik. The collective is open to anyone who is interested in making and promoting interdisciplinary art, new media and innovation.

Mmf Iceland
The Music Managers Forum Iceland (MMF Iceland) is a newly created community for music professionals and managers actively working with Icelandic talent. By establishing an independent Iceland-focussed industry body, modelled on and with the support of the MMF UK, members will become part of a global community while strengthening and supporting our local emerging management community, as well as giving voice to the artists our members represent in Iceland and beyond.

Borgarleikhúsið Reykjavik City Theatre
Borgarleikhúsið er stærsta og best búna leikhús landsins, 10.400 fermetrar að stærð. Að auki telst það í hópi best búnu leikhúsa Evrópu. Í upphafi voru sviðin tvö, Stóra sviðið og Litla sviðið. Stóri salurinn er blævængslaga með einu, hallandi gólfi og tekur 529 manns í sæti, en sá litli er sexhyrndur með breytilegri sætaskipan og tekur að jafnaði um 170 manns í sæti, en hefur tekið hátt á þriðja hundrað gesta. Í október 2001 var þriðja sviðinu bætt við, Nýja sviðinu, sem í dag er fullkominn,svartur kassi“ sem býður uppá mikla möguleika hvað varðar rýmisnýtingu. Sæti eru fyrir 300 áhorfendur. Þriðja hæðin, kaffileikhúsið; lítill salur við mötuneyti starfsmanna, hefur auk þess verið notaður við ýmsar uppákomur, fyrirlestra og sýningar en salurinn tekur um 70 manns í sæti. Leikið hefur verið á ýmsum öðrum stöðum í húsinu eins og í forsal leikhússins, í starfsmannarými baksviðs og boðið hefur verið upp á sviðsettar skoðunarferðir um allt leikhúsið.

Reykjavík Fringe Festival
Welcome to the annual Reykjavík Fringe Festival, home of the Icelandic grassroots art scene as well as a platform for more established performers to experiment and play. Our artists are a mix of local and international performers, speaking, singing and screaming in a variety of languages - or none at all. The festival takes place at the height of summer, making the most of the long days and the midnight sun. Venues are all in central Reykjavík, a close walking distance from one another. Tickets are affordable and the atmosphere is always welcoming.

Lókal Performing Arts
LÓKAL began its activities as a performing arts festival in 2007 with the aim of introducing significant trends and trends in foreign performing arts to Icelandic audiences and Icelandic performing arts to foreign festival goers. The festival was run under these terms, annually from 2008 to 2024. Over the years, we have had the pleasure and satisfaction of working with hundreds of foreign and local artists and we will continue doing so, even though Lókal has now taken on a slightly different form.

Við kynnum íslenskar sviðslistir á alþjóðavettvangi og vinnum með fagfélögum og stjórnvöldum að stefnumótun fyrir sviðslistir. Supporting and promoting Icelandic performing arts locally and globally. The Iceland Performing Arts Centre supports Icelandic performing artists and companies through networking, funding opportunities, and professional development. We promote Icelandic performing arts internationally and collaborate with organizations, festivals, and policymakers to develop the sector.

Tjarnarbíó
Tjarnarbíó is a living incubator for creative arts in Iceland. It houses theatre, music, dance and whatever performing art you can think of. Tjarnarbíó also rents it's space for events, conferences and parties, public and private. It's located in the heart of Reykjavík, at Tjarnargata 12.

Reykjavík Arts Festival Listahátíð Í Reykjavík
Reykjavík Arts Festival is a biennial multidisciplinary festival with a special focus on new commissions and the creative intersection of the arts. It presents, to the widest possible audience, exhibitions and performances of contemporary and classical works in major cultural venues and unconventional spaces throughout the city. Since its inception in 1970, Reykjavík Arts Festival has invited hundreds of artists from all parts of the globe to perform or exhibit at the festival. Through this activity, the festival has helped to create a vast network of connections between national and international artists, been a catalyst for the creation of new works and a major force in the development of cultural diversity in Iceland. Reykjavik Arts Festival aims to surprise, to be present and visible within the city as well as reaching out to other parts of the country. Reykjavik Arts Festival takes place 1-16 June 2024.
