One By One International
Who taught you values and life skills when you were young? Whether you had great mentors and teachers when you were growing up or you had to fend for yourself, you know the enormous value that loving, intentional adults add to a child’s life. Many kids in Nicaragua grow up without someone investing in their character or abilities, making it hard to overcome adversity, have healthy relationships or know God intimately. Material poverty makes this worse by stealing opportunities for personal progress. One by One equips underprivileged children and youth to grow in their relationship with Christ and improve their quality of life. We do this through biblical discipleship, intellectual development, and vocational training. In short, we seek to give kids the tools they need to have healthy and stable futures- Our main ministry center is in northwest Managua, Nicaragua, and we partner with several Nicaraguan-led churches in and around Managua. We are registered in the US and in Nicaragua as a government-recognized non-profit organization.
