PLASTEX is the leading roto-moulding plastics manufacturer and distributor of high quality polyethylene products in Mozambique. Its wide product range includes water tanks, chemical and fuel tanks, septic containers, aquaculture ponds, fish crates, bins and other industrial products. PLASTEX mission is to enable clients to gain access to safe potable water, sanitation and hygiene by providing sustainable water storage and wastewater solutions. The company is committed to delivering the most practical, robust and durable products possible in a wide range of sizes and configurations. The company also supplies a range of high quality water treatment and purification products. PLASTEX has developed a strong national brand and reputation due to its high quality products and effective distribution. Its production facilities use state of the art computer controlled roto-molding technology, and ultra-sonic testing of finished products. The raw material is 100% food grade polyethylene, with UV stabilisers to avoid plastic degradation. The tanks include a top cover and standard outlets. Additional accessories are available, including floats, respirators and valves; this can be pre-installed if required. The tanks are used for storing water and for sanitation in a range of sectors including household, farming, mining, tourism, wastewater, chemical handling and aquaculture throughout the country. The products are supplied in two brands: BEST and the premium PLASTEX brand. PLASTEX operates from three strategically positioned plants: Nacala (in the north), Beira (in the centre region) and Maputo (in the south). These plants facilitate its clients through fast delivery and minimum freight costs.
