Tri-Pack Films Limited (Tri-Pack), a public limited company, is a joint venture between Mitsubishi Corporation of Japan and Packages Limited of Pakistan. Tri-Pack was incorporated in Pakistan in 1993 and commenced commercial production in 1995. The Company is listed on the Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad Stock Exchanges. It has a paid up capital of Rs 300 million and its revenue has exceeded Rs.12.2 billion in 2011. In 1993,Tri-Pack started its operations with one plant having a capacity to produce 5,400 tonnes finished BOPP film per annum. To meet the rising demand of the country and to cater customer needs efficiently in time, the Company decided to go into expansion and added another line of BOPP film in 2001, thus increasing the installed capacity to manufacture BOPP film from 5,400 tonnes to 10,800 tonnes annually. In 2004 the Company installed its third manufacturing line of tonnes per annum at Port Qasim Industrial Zone, Karachi. In 2007.

PET RESIN, Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) is the most common thermoplastic polymer resin of the polyester family. Because PET is an excellent water and moisture barrier material, plastic bottles made from PET are used for soft drinks, still water, edible oil industry and pharmaceutical sector. The convenience attached with plastic packaging is paramount in increasing the consumption of PET in Pakistan. PET PREFORM, Processing – Injection Molding. PET bottles are a huge market for the material. Processing PET into bottles can take two steps depending on the application or bottle. In the first step, PET is injection molded into a “mini bottle,” complete with threads, called a preform. This preform is then reheated, stretched and blown into its final shape. While there is technology available that combines these two processes in a single step, for larger-throughput applications preform and bottle making are generally made in distinct steps, often by different processors. CROWN CAPS, The role of caps and closure is to seal and preserve the product inside each bottle.
