Since 1989, Tecnifreza is headquartered in Marinha Grande – Portugal. We are distinguished by the design and manufacturing of complex and precision molds for 1K, 2K, 3K and insert molding parts. Our working methodology in partnership with our customers aims to deliver a top quality product. Tecnifreza has molding facilities to qualify the injection molds, perform trials, small and pre-series production. In Tecnifreza we take pride in retaining 89 talented employees. Our experienced engineers and designers, working in partnership with our clients, deliver complex but robust systems. Tecnifreza uses Top Solid 7 as CAD software and Sigmasoft for CAE. We manufacture molds up to 5 tons and 900x600x900mm of maximum size. Depending on parts complexity and size, we produce tools up to 128 cavities. We frequently produce multi-material molds (2 shots and 3 shots). Tecnifreza is equipped with state of the art machinery which is necessary for the production of top class finished products. All our products are submitted to rigourous dimensional control, over electrodes, steel and plastic parts. On top of the convencional measurement equipments, we are equiped with CT Scan. Tecnifreza has molding facilities to qualify the injection molds, perform trials, small and pre-series production. We are equipped with state of the art injection plastic machinery, with a range from 30 ton to 220 ton. We are capable to inject 2 shot, 3 shot and metallic inserts molds in-house. At E&T – Engineering and Tooling we focus our activity on engineering, development, manufacturing and exporting moulds for the plastics industry, as well as on mould testing and plastic parts manufacturing, within the most diversified sectors and markets. Thanks to our cost-efficient engineering and project management capabilities we are able to offer QUALITY tools, in a range of 0.4-50 tons, and ON-TIME delivery (99,9%). We are always looking for the best quality, the most adequate deadlines and the most competitive prices, aiming primarily at the satisfaction of our customers. We are able to produce in our subsidiary, AFR Moldes, small and medium size moulds for the plastic industry. Its core strength lies in the machining (CNC), high precision assembling and finishing processes of the mould. Today, 20 years after AFR's foundation, it has a manufacturing area of about 1300 m2, 40 specialized technicians and a set of machinery quite updated. AFR stands out as one of the most well equipped within its sector, both technologically and in terms of specialized labour. Besides AFR Moldes, E&T also relies on a structured network of several local and certified manufacturers, which gives us the possibility of managing several large projects simultaneously, with the same ease and speed as if it was a single supplier, without additional charges or responsibilities for the client. During 2015, E&T has opened a new centre of mould testing and pre-series production. This new centre comprehends 4 ENGEL injection machines of different clamping forces (160, 300, 500 and 800 t), all equipped with robot and conveyor belt to collect and pack the parts, and yet a modern feeding and material drying system. It is also possible to test bi-material moulds as a result of having a second mobile injection unit and a rotary table. As a way to ensure the final quality of the product, a new lab for dimensional control was also created; it is equipped with a modern measuring Werth equipment.
