Epp Group In The European Parliament
The EPP Group is the largest political force in the European Parliament. The Group of the European People's Party (EPP Group) brings together centre and centre-right pro-European political forces from across the Member States of the EU. Our vision: A united Europe in which every individual is able to realise their full potential. A fairer, more competitive and democratic Europe where people travel, work, do business, invest, learn from each other, buy, sell, collaborate and team up. A self-assured Europe that recognises its unique history and heritage and defends its way of life. A strong Europe that is ready to punch above its weight globally. Our mission: To work to the benefit of all Europeans to build a more ambitious and a more self-assured Europe where everyone has an equal opportunity to succeed; defending a united Europe that respects subsidiarity, without contradiction among European, national and local identities. To put people at the heart of the European project, strengthening European democracy and the accountability of its institutions; defending the European way of life, advocating a united Europe based on the values of human dignity, freedom, solidarity, the respect of human rights and the rule of law.

Ecr Group In The European Parliament
The ECR Group is a centre-right political group in the European Parliament, founded in 2009 with a common cause to reform the EU based on euro-realism, respecting the sovereignty of nations, and focusing on economic recovery, growth and competitiveness. From its 8 founding Member States with 54 MEPs in 2009, we now have 78 MEPs from 18 Member States. Eurorealist, not anti-European Euro-realism is the driving force of the ECR Group, which distinguishes our agenda from the other political groups in the European Parliament. The European Union needs a new direction. Some argue that the solution is more Europe, others that the solution is no Europe. We offer a bold alternative vision of a reformed EU as a community of nations cooperating in areas where they have some common interests that can best be advanced by working together. We are the voice of common sense The European Union has overreached. It has become too centralised, too ambitious, and too out of touch with ordinary citizens. We believe in restoring common sense in Brussels – advocating for the equal treatment of all Member States, pushing the EU to be more fiscally responsible, finding new ways to connect people and business, creating solutions to the migrant crisis and the terrorist threat, and adopting a global approach to increase EU competitiveness on the world stage. An alternative agenda for the EU The ECR Group is at the forefront of generating forward-looking policy proposals to design a reformed European Union that is more flexible, decentralised and respects the wishes of its Member States. Only an EU that truly listens to its people can offer real solutions to the problems we face today. We believe in cutting red tape, in an EU run by national governments not Brussels bureaucrats, in doing less but better, in an immigration system that works, in spending taxpayer money wisely, but most of all, we believe in fostering an EU that is safe, secure, competitive, and prosperous for all.

European Parliament Liaison Office In Washington Dc
The EPLO Washington DC office works directly with members of the US Congress to build a transatlantic network of legislators and legislative staffers on issues requiring political cooperation. Americans and Europeans together constitute the leading force in the world economy and, over the last 60 years, we have cooperated closely to enhance the cause of peace, freedom and human rights. Together we also face contemporary challenges - most notably the threat of terrorism and the need to increase economic growth, while protecting our environment. The European Parliament consists of 705 members directly elected by citizens of EU member states. Our members work closely with the European Commission and the European Council to develop the laws and policies of the EU.

Nato Parliamentary Assembly
Since its creation in 1955, the NATO Parliamentary Assembly has provided a unique specialised forum for members of parliament from across the Atlantic Alliance to discuss and influence decisions on Alliance security. Through its work and activities, the Assembly facilitates parliamentary awareness and understanding of the key issues affecting the security of the Euro-Atlantic area, and supports national parliamentary oversight over defence and security. Crucially, it helps to strengthen the transatlantic relationship and the values which underpin the Alliance. The Assembly is institutionally separate from NATO, but serves as an essential link between NATO and the parliaments of the NATO nations. It provides greater transparency of NATO policies, and fosters better understanding of the Alliance’s objectives and missions among legislators and citizens of the Alliance.

Vista

Cooperatives Europe
Cooperatives Europe is the voice of cooperative enterprises in Europe. On behalf of its 84 member organisations from 34 European countries across all business sectors it promotes the cooperative business model in Europe. Its members represent 141 million individual member cooperators owning co-operative enterprises and providing jobs to 4.7 million European citizens, a force for economic growth and social change. Cooperatives Europe promotes the cooperative business model at European level. We advocate granting the plurality of business forms in Europe. It is about increasing knowledge and recognition of the cooperative business model among EU authorities, designing and implementing policies and tools to support the development of the cooperative enterprises and anticipating the impact of new EU or national legislation. We foster communication amongst and about cooperative enterprises. We focus our efforts on creating tools to connect with our members and, together with them, we increase the visibility, awareness and recognition of cooperatives at EU level. We enhance the development of cooperative businesses: cooperative enterprises enable people to become key players in their own social and economic development. They are thus a key tool for European and international growth strategy. Cooperatives Europe works on integrating the cooperative business model into the EU policies and programmes and to promote cooperatives as viable partners for the EU institutions.

Europese Actie European Action
Unfortunately the EU doesn't work! That is why EUROPEAN ACTION is an independent citizen initiative that lobbies for direct democracy, personal responsibility of politicians & "experts", for real nature & environmental protection (and thus no GMOs and other artificial "food" and also no "Digital and Electric Transition"), for the democratic reform of the EU, freedom, cooperation and more.

The LVSV (Classical liberal Flemish Students Organization) is a non-partisan organization run by and for students founded in 1930, making it the oldest pro-liberty student group in existence. It aims to spread the ideas of liberty at several Belgian universities by organizing events, publishing magazines and weighing on public opinion. The LVSV is comprised of five chapters active at the major Universities of Dutch speaking Belgium (Antwerp, Brussels, Ghent, Hasselt and Leuven). The LVSV Ghent chapter was founded in 1930 and has obtained a reputation as the largest and most active ideological organization in the city with its many activities including lecture evenings and debates. Over the years many generations of students have been exposed to the ideas of liberty through the LVSV and have gone to spread these ideas themselves as entrepreneurs, intellectuals, lawyers and politicians. Every week they invite influential speakers from academia, politics, business and non-profit sectors to exchange ideas and debate various topics.

Lvsv Leuven
[English] The LVSV is the largest political-philosophical organization in Leuven. European Commission Trainees' Committee
The Trainees' Committee (TC) represents the trainees working at the European Commission and is elected at the beginning of each traineeship. The Trainees' Committee plays two roles. First, it acts as a facilitator for all trainees between them and external parties like the Traineeships Office (TO), the Directorate-Generals (DG) and other partners. Secondly, it provides trainees with the opportunity to enhance their traineeship experience by socialising and spending their free time with other stagiaires through the coordination of different subcommittees. The subcommittees are created by the trainees and differ from session to session. They cover areas such as sports, culture, careers, charity and entertainment. The TC also is in contact with external bodies and individuals in order to bring events and activities to life. These include amongst others: EU institutions officials, venue managers, sponsors, travel agents, food/drink suppliers and media managers. The Committee consists of five members with specific functions. However, we work together as a team to achieve the best results for the trainees. These members are doing this on a volunteer basis with no extra allowance or privileges. However, they might have an advantage on the selection for the Liaison Committee done by the TO.

Volt Europa
Volt is a pan-European, progressive movement that stands for a new and inclusive way of doing politics and that wants to bring real change to all European citizens. A new pan-European approach is needed to overcome current and future challenges, such as - among many others - climate change, economic inequality, migration, international conflict, terrorism, and the impact of the technological revolution on our jobs. National parties are powerless in front of these challenges, because they go beyond national borders and need to be tackled by us as Europeans, as one people. As a transnational party, we believe we can help the European people unite, create a shared vision and understanding, exchange good practices across the continent, and come up with policies together. A new way of doing politics, for a new millennium.
