Achimota School
Achimota School (formerly Prince of Wales College and School, Achimota, now nicknamed Motown), is a co-educational boarding school located at Achimota in Accra, Greater Accra, Ghana. The school was founded in 1924 by Sir Frederick Gordon Guggisberg, Dr. James Emman Kwegyir Aggrey and the Rev. Alexander (Alec) Garden Fraser. It was formally opened in 1927 by Sir Frederick Guggisberg, then Governor of the British Gold Coast colony. Achimota, modelled on the British public school system, was the first mixed-gender school to be established on the Gold Coast. The school has educated many African leaders, including Kwame Nkrumah, Edward Akufo-Addo, Jerry John Rawlings, and John Evans Atta Mills all of whom are former Heads of State of Ghana. Former President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama had his primary education there while former Prime Minister of Ghana Dr. Kofi Abrefa Busia also taught at Achimota. Also included in its list of African heads of state are Zimbabwe's second president Robert Mugabe and Sir Dawda Jawara, first head of state of The Gambia. The stylised piano-key design of the Achimota School crest was described by Aggrey at the time:"You can play a tune of sorts on the black keys only; and you can play a tune of sorts on the white keys only; but for perfect harmony, you must use both the black and the white keys".

Mfantsipim School, Cape Coast
Mfantsipim is a Methodist secondary school in Cape Coast, Ghana. It has origins in the first secondary school to be established in the Gold Coast,(now Ghana), Wesleyan High School, founded on 3 April 1876. The first principal was James Picot, who was 18 years old at the time. The school changed its name to Wesleyan Collegiate School in 1896. In 1905 a graduate of the school, John Mensah Sarbah, founded a rival school named Mfantsipim; the name derives from "Mfantsefo-apem", literally meaning "thousands of Fantes" but actually meaning "the gathering of hosts of scholars for change" originally by Fantes. In July of the same year the two schools were merged under the control of the Methodist church, keeping the name Mfantsipim.[1] In 1931 the school moved to the present site at Kwabotwe Hill in the northern part of Cape Coast, at the top of Kotokuraba Road.

Kumasi Academy Shs Kumaca
Kumasi Academy also known as KUMACA is a public, senior high school located in Asokore-Mampong, in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. Asokore-Mampong is the capital of the Asokore Mampong Municipal Assembly and about 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) from the central business district of Kumasi off the Kumasi Airport-Aboabo Road. History The Academy was founded in 1956 by the Ghana Baptist Convention as Sadler Baptist College. In 1960, the seminary was moved from Asokore-Mampong to Abuakwa, leaving the secondary school at its present location, Asokore-Mampong. Poe was later succeeded by Madam Nadine Lovan, another white missionary, as the head of the Sadler Baptist School. The school has since become one of the most popular schools in Ghana because of the Baptist missionaries' strict adherence to discipline. Later, the then government wanted to have a say in the administration and running of the school. The Baptist Mission was not the type that would take kindly to that policy and was not prepared to acquiesce in this interference since it believed in the complete separation between religion and government. In these circumstances, the Mission found it more expedient to leave the scene and handed over the school to the government on two conditions, viz, that the name "Sadler Baptist" be changed and that the teaching of religion in the school should be in the hands of the Baptist Mission. The government accepted this offer and "Sadler Baptist Secondary School" was eventually phased out. On Saturday, 9th July, 2022, the ultramodern Akunini Science Laboratory was commissioned in the school to enhance STEM education. It is a legacy project that was fully funded by the alumni association known as Akunini Global.

Faith Montessori School
We skillfully combine two scientific and highly successful approaches. The Montessori Methodology The Montessori approach allows children to grow naturally to retain their individuality and develop their own unique personality. Where our focus is on pupils learning spontaneously, teachers act as skilled observers, identifying students who need help and those better off left on their own to pursue intense activities joyfully. Multiple Intelligences Theory “… It is of the utmost importance that we recognize and nurture all the varied human intelligences, and all the combinations of intelligences. We are all so different largely because we all have different combinations of intelligence.” -Howard Gardner (1987) Appreciating the endowment of multiple intelligences that our students possess, the school employs many varied approaches in teaching to support the various learning capacities and styles of our students.

Victoria Grammar School
The Victoria Grammar School (V.G.S) is the primary and secondary division of Toddlers’ Inn Nursery School, both located at Abelemkpe, Accra-Ghana. Our drive to continue the quality and holistic nurturing given to our children at the Pre-school gave birth to the Victoria Grammar School. Established in September 2009, V.G.S strives to provide top quality education which adequately prepares students to handle life and its challenges with confidence, a sense of responsibility and excellence. We do this by crafting a curricular and a learning culture which enables each child to realize his or her full potential. We maintain that a small class size and individual attention given to each student is an effective way of ensuring a good education and this is one of our strategies. V.G.S is a school established on Christian principles. Our values and ethics are thus Christian-based. We represent different nationalities and do foster a family atmosphere inside and outside the classroom setting. The school has a number of social events for parents, teachers, and children to get to know each other. We follow the Cambridge International Primary and Secondary Programme, with some adaptations to suit our Ghanaian culture. We believe that good behavior, guidance and discipline are key foundations for success. Without an orderly atmosphere, effective teaching and learning cannot take place. We therefore insist on the highest standards of behavior and conduct throughout the school. Self-discipline, love and care for others are expected from all. With the right guidance and counseling, students will not only be intelligent but organized, persistent, confident, respectful, resilient and able to get along well with others. To do this, we must respect each other’s differences, treat each other kindly and listen to one another. As partners in education, students, parents and staff are collectively responsible for raising high the flag of V.G.S.

Jan Montessori School
We are a collaborative family of learners committed to building character inspiring young achievers through Montessori principles to gain knowledge and power, integrity, and respect in the global community. As members of the Jan Montessori School, our core values are grounded in the Montessori philosophy which guides our community, programs, initiatives, and distinctive culture. Our guiding principles are at the heart of our daily work with children and are the foundation of our mission and vision. The four (4) core values through which we live our Montessori Journey are; • MUTUAL RESPECT Each child is special and respected for their unique abilities. Believe and have respect for the child and respect for the learning process as well. The focus is on developing the whole child — his or her social skills, emotional growth, physical coordination, and cognitive abilities. This is achieved by recognizing and respecting the unique personalities and mental traits each child brings to the prepared classroom. • EDUCATION FOR LIFE We are committed to the Montessori pedagogy and as such, we are dedicated to reflective practice and continuous improvement informed by conscious learning and best practices to be leaders and innovators in all their endeavors. • PARENT PARTNERSHIP We value parents as partners in their children’s education. Through our parent education program, parents actively participate in the success of their children and the school community. We create a welcoming, open partnership with families and the larger community that embraces differences and celebrates all achievements. • INDEPENDENCE We believe that self-sufficiency is the crucial building block that underlies a child’s experiences of pleasure and self-worth. To foster independence, our prepared environments and materials are designed to allow children to explore and learn “by hands-on,” while extended periods of “work time” learning at their own pace encourage children to follow their interests.

St. Peter's Senior High School
St. Peter’s Senior High School, located at Nkwatia– Kwahu in the Eastern Region of Ghana was founded in February 1957 for the education of boys by the Divine Word Missionaries, a Catholic Religious Organization of Priests and Brothers. The school was named after St. Peter Claver (1581 – 1654), a Spanish Jesuit Priest who worked most of his life among the poor negro slaves of Colombia. The initiative came from an Accra-based citizen of Nkwatia called Opanyin Onwona Farkye who led a delegation to the local priest at Kwahu Tafo (Rev. Fr. Cletus Hodapp, SVD) to propose the idea of the church establishing a school at Nkwatia. Rev. Fr. Hodapp in turn discussed the proposal with the Rt. Rev. Joseph O. Bowers, the Bishop of Accra. Therefore on 7th January 1957, Bishop Bowers met with the Nkwatiahene and his elders and both agreed to start St. Peter’s Senior High School. The Chief and his people donated a large tract of land and also agreed to offer communal labour for the building of the school. St. Peter’s began its life of character and academic training on 5th February 1957 with 36 founding students and 2 teachers in private premises of the late Opanyin Onwona Farkye. The courses offered were the Arts and Sciences. Rev. Fr. Clement Hotze, SVD of blessed memory, an American, who was the first Headmaster of the school, taught the Arts subjects while Mr Agyare taught the Sciences subjects. The first lay (non-priest/religious) Headmaster was Mr Herbert Agbezuge. In September 1960, St. Peter’s was officially approved by the Ministry of Education. From this humble beginning, St. Peter’s Senior High School had developed and acquired an enviable reputation in as a First Class secondary school in Ghana.

Faith Kids Academy
The role of basic education is to ensure the broad-based development of pupils. This means ensuring that all pupils are able to develop their cognitive, social, emotional, cultural and physical skills to the best of their abilities, preparing them for their further school career. We strictly adhere to the subject requirements of the Ghana Education Service (G.E.S) offered at the Primary and Junior High School. To enrich our curriculum, we do the Universal Concept of Mental Arithmetic System (UCMAS) from the second year of kindergarten. For a balanced and a holistic educational curriculum, we offer a special music school where our interested pupils are given piano lessons. As part of our co-curricular programmes, we actively engage our pupils in Physical Education (Sports), Drama and Choreography, Cadet, Math and Science practical activities as well as an established Readers’ and Writers’ club to nurture the culture of avid reading, creative writing and public speaking. Carrying out this task places demands on a school’s structure, teachers, school leaders and parents. These matter to us as an institution and constantly work at it to place us a certain high pedestal of academic excellence. A further requirement for the good development of our pupils is education that sets challenging targets for every pupil. Therefore, as a school, we have adopted an outcome-oriented approach and that, pupils and school performance is regularly evaluated. This makes it possible to respond quickly if pupils or groups of pupils need either extra help or more of a challenge; individual tailoring can be provided. An outcome-oriented approach means that teachers and school leaders need to be able to translate exam results into actions and targets. Appropriate and challenging education requires a professional school structure with good teachers and school leaders. At the same time, a professional approach means that, as a school, we are prepared to be accountable to all stakeholders

Wisdom Ways Academy International is a social enterprise that seeks to foster academic success in the children of the community of Narhman. The school currently has a population of 270 students and 14 staff members. The school was founded by Madam Georgina Dadey, an elderly entrepreneur with a passion for childhood development. She herself was not given the opportunity to attend school during her childhood, though she raised five children who have graduated from both local and international universities. Despite her personal struggles, she began the academy for children in the area, motivated by a desire to reach the minds of children from low-income families. Now, we are adopting a social enterprise model to carry her dream forward, and to continue to educate and inspire children to reach new heights. THE CURRICULUM: The class levels range from pre-school to primary school up to Grade 4. Our aim is to provide Grade A service to low income family in the area. Aside from the regular courses (such as Math and English), we want to go above + beyond and provide them with classes in phonetics, IT, financial management, adult education, and much more. THE TEACHERS: The school administration has been able to recruit Higher National Diploma (HND) qualified teachers. The administration has discussed WWA’s vision and future direction with all of the recruited teachers. Throughout their time at WWA, the teacher receives in house training to learn new skills. Even though an allowance of about $80 dollars per month is what is given to teachers, the teachers have bought into the vision of the school and are very committed to see the progress of the children.
