Sifa Learning Academy Charter School
SiFA Learning Academy Charter School (SiFA LACS) focuses on STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics) and project-based learning to give students an alternative approach to learning. In addition to the standard core subjects of science, math, language arts, and social studies, the school gives instruction in subjects like robotics and digital arts. The school also supports social-emotional growth through our House system where students are encouraged to collaborate to achieve common goals. Students are sorted into one of the four houses where they are provided opportunities for peer mentoring, team-building projects, and friendly competition between houses. The school curriculum and student programs work together to achieve the school mission of preparing middle school students to be successful and productive citizens by developing strong critical thinking skills to solve problems for Guam and the world. As of July 2022, SiFA LACS is pleased to announce that SiFA Learning Academy Charter School has been granted accreditation status by the Accrediting Commission for Schools, Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).
