About Us The school was established on 10 Oct 1982 with 250 students and 15 teachers in a few portacabins. Today the strength is 14585 students, above 750 teachers, 38 administrative staff apart from a fleet of 70 buses on hire from a private company and 75 janitorial staff on hire from the local contractor. It is certainly the biggest school not only in the Kingdom but in the entire Gulf. It is affiliated to the CBSE and has all the three streams – Arts, Science and Commerce. The result at Class X is 100% in 2019. 1004 students appeared at Class X. In terms of grade points, 229 students secured 90% and above, while 239 students secured 80% and above, 239 students secured 70%. The result at Class XII is 99.4% in 2019. 711 students appeared, 114 secured above 90%, 166 above 80%, 174 above 70%. The result is not only by far the best in the Kingdom but compares favorably with any school anywhere in the country or in the gulf. We enhance our teacher's potentials by regular workshops, in-service training, regular prep talks and staff development program. Despite the constraints of space, different campuses spread at different places, universal admission policy, admission round the year, the school has been functioning exceedingly well almost in a copybook fashion. New and innovative methods of teaching based on the theories of multiple intelligence and educational constructivism are introduced and the evaluation system is redesigned on the basis of a continuous and comprehensive assessment. All steps are taken to make teaching and learning enjoyable in a total stress-free atmosphere. Founded in 1981, Dhahran British Grammar School follows the National Curriculum for England and delivers externally assessed (I)GCSE examinations as well as offering a full A-level programme. The school is accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS), the British Schools Overseas (BSO), the British Schools in the Middle East (BSME) and the Middle States Association for Colleges and Schools (MSA). Bangladesh International School Dammam
The Bangladesh International School Dammam (BISD) is located in Dammam, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. The school has two sections: The school section - Grade KG to Grade X The college section - Grade XI to Grade XII History H E Hedayet Ahmed, then Ambassador of Bangladesh, proposed the school as a part of the education and cultural wing of the Bangladesh Embassy in Saudi Arabia. It was established on 1 January 1987. Rajjool Monsoom runs the school as Principal and M.M.M. Nawfal as Vice Principal. Curriculum BISD follows the University of Cambridge Local Examination Syndicate (UCLES) for its course structure. Students appear for their 'O' level examination after completing Grade X under UCLES and 'A' level examination after completing Grade XII under UCLES. Both of the examinations take place with the supervision of the British Council situated in Eastern Province. Achievements At the 2006 British Council annual awards ceremony, Muhammad Ehsanul Hoque was honoured for achieving first place in mathematics and economics at 'A' level. Akil Muhammad Habibullah was ranked first in chemistry at 'O' level. At the graduation ceremony, in May 2007, it was announced that in 2006 the school had a 100 per cent success rate for students in their final examinations.
