Hong Kong Designers Association
The Hong Kong Designers Association was founded in 1972. The Association is the first of its kind in Hong Kong, and is a design body to advocate public interest in design and higher professional status for practising designers in government, cultural, entertainment, commercial and industrial sectors, for full-time, part-time teachers and administrators on the academic side of designing. As of 2020, HKDA has more than one thousand registered members, covering six main design categories, includes Graphics, Spatial, Product, Education, Digital Media and Fashion.

Family Office Association Hong Kong (“FOAHK”) is an independent family office trade association established in November 2020. We are a consultative industry body established to lead and drive dialogue between the family office industry, government and regulatory bodies in Hong Kong. We advocate for legislative and regulatory matters favourable to the development of family office businesses in Hong Kong, with the common goal for the city to become the region’s leading family office hub in Asia-Pacific. The Hong Kong Institute Of Architects
Objects of The Institute The two main objects of the Institute are i) to promote the general advancement of architecture and to promote and facilitate the acquisition of the knowledge of the various arts and sciences connected therewith; ii) to raise the standard of architecture in Hong Kong and the standard of professional architectural services offered by members of the Institute. Professional Qualification In Hong Kong, registration of architects are governed by the Architects Registration Board (ARB) under the Architects Registration Ordinance (Chapter 408). Every year, graduates with recognized architectural education qualification and appropriate practical experience, aspiring to become a Registered Architect, can sit the Professional Assessment jointly held by the Institute and ARB. Successful candidates will be admitted as a Member of the Institute which, in accordance with the Architects Registration Ordinance, will be readily accepted as a Registered Architect by ARB. Alternatively for overseas professional architects with adequate relevant local experience, they can apply for HKIA membership and hence register as a Registered Architect in Hong Kong, through a Professional Induction Workshop followed with an interview held jointly by the Institute and ARB. Accreditation of Architectural Education The Institute works closely with the ARB to accredit the architectural courses offered by local universities and tertiary institutions and offers advice on the aspects of professional practice and practical experience in architecture. Apart from recognition in Hong Kong, architectural programmes accredited by HKIA/ARB are also recognised by Mainland as well as a number of overseas countries such as, Australia and New Zealand under Mutual Recognition agreement with respective accrediting authority.

Hkie Geotechnical Division
The Geotechnical Division of the HKIE was formed in 1987 but our history can be traced back to 1980 when the Geotechnical Group (the former body of the Geotechnical Division) was formed within the HKIE. We are a learned society to promote the status of geotechnical engineers in society. We organise technical talks, site vists, annual seminars and international conferences to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and experience. 社會工作者註冊局 Social Workers Registration Board
Social Workers Registration Board (the Board) was established on 16 January 1998. It is a statutory body established under the Social Worker Registration Ordinance (the Ordinance) which has been put into effect since 6 June 1997. The Board is financially independent. Its mandate is strictly governed by the Ordinance. The enactment of the Ordinance is aimed at setting up a regulatory system to monitor the quality of social workers and ultimately protect the interests of service users and the general public. Under the Ordinance, a person whose name does not appear on the Register of registered social workers shall not be entitled to use the title of "social worker" or its related descriptions.
