American Corner In Sulaymaniyah
The American Corner's Program is a United States Department of State-sponsored initiative inaugurated worldwide more than 17 years ago. Since 2004, the U.S. has launched almost 700 American Corners in approximately 70 countries. The American Corner program has come to the Library of the University of Sulaymaniyah (UOS). The objective of this program is to establish affiliations between Iraqi and U.S. institutions and individuals that promote and facilitate linkages and relationships across a range of fields. The American Corner at UOS Library exemplifies that by providing a platform for educational programs and access to American print, multimedia, and other materials. It will run speaker and discussion group programs, film presentations, online engagements, and other activities. In addition to serving as a general resource center, the Corner serves as a space for cultural programming, supporting English-language teaching/learning, advising about educational opportunities in the United States, and activities that inform and engage Iraqi alumni of U.S. government exchange programs.

Nineveh Chamber Of Industry غرفة صناعة نينوى
غرفة صناعة نينوى هي جزء من اتحاد الصناعات العراقي, الذي يعتبر "منظمة مهنية اقتصادية تنموية" بحسب المادة 1 الفقرة ٢ من قانون اتحاد الصناعات العراقي رقم ٣٤ لسنة ٢٠٠٢. الهدف الاساسي الذي يتطلع اليه الاتحاد بالتعاون مع الغرف الصناعية المنتشرة في العراق هو "تنظيم وتنمية النشاط الصناعي في القطاعات الخاص والمختلط والتعاوني وتعزيز دور هذا النشاط في عملية التنمية" وفقا للمادة الثانية من القانون نفسه. تتالف غرفة صناعة نينوى من مجلس اداري يتكون من خمس اعضاء : 1- السيد محمد علي حازم المشهداني, رئيس مجلس الادارة وممثل لصنف الصناعات الغذائية. 2- السيد انمار عبد الغني العبادي نائبا لرئيس مجلس الادارة وممثل لصنف الصناعات النسيجية والخياطة. 3- السيد عزام اكرم عبد الوهاب ممثلا لصنف الصناعات الكيميائية والبلاستيكية. 4- السيد عمر محمود امين شهاب ممثلا لصنف الصناعات الخشبية. 5- السيد مظهر محمود مصطفى ممثلا لصنف الصناعات الانشائية والاستخراجية.
