Instituti Albanologjik - Prishtinë
Instituti Albanologjik u themelua më 1 qershor 1953, është institucion i pavarur publik kërkimor-shkencor me rëndësi të veçantë kombëtare, që merret me studimin e kulturës shpirtërore e materiale të shqiptarëve. Veprimtarinë e vet e zhvillon në bazë të Ligjit për Institutin Albanologjik dhe Ligjit për Veprimtarinë Kërkimore-Shkencore të Kosovës. Instituti Albanologjik ka për objekt veprimtarie punën kërkimore-shkencore nga fushat e albanologjisë: gjuhësi, letërsi, histori, folklor dhe etnologji. Veprimtarinë e tij e zhvillon duke i hulumtuar problemet albanologjike në terren dhe arkiva, duke i studiuar ato dhe duke i botuar rezultatet e arritura shkencore. Organizon sesione, simpoziume, konferenca e tryeza ku trajtohen çështje te ndryshme ne fushat e shkencave albanologjike. Organet udhëheqëse të Institutit janë: Këshilli Shkencor, si organ shkencor-profesional, Këshilli Drejtues, si organ kolegjial i udhëheqjes dhe drejtori i Institutit. Ka arkivin, bibliotekën, sallën e eksponateve, sallën e leximit, sallën shkencore dhe kabinetet e punëtorëve ku mundësohet puna e pavarur hulumtuese-shkencore.
