Digital Health And Care Macedonia
The National association for digitalisation of health and care – Digital Health and Care Macedonia was founded in November 2022 as a non-profit, non-governmental organisation. The initiative was inspired by the crumbling public healthcare system, diminishing of the public healthcare services, and excessive migration of healthcare professionals due to poor working conditions, to other countries or transiting to the private healthcare sector. Therefore, an enormous gap to fill is present in order to advance the health of individuals and their communities. Digital health solutions, as a powerful tool in combating inequities in healthcare services delivery and accessibility as a basic human right, hold the potential to partially solve the current problem with the aim to facilitate access and timeliness in the delivery of services to (underserved) communities, with emphasis on those with limited supply and/or access to services due to location. Our mission is to promote the biopsychosocial health and well-being of all citizens through implementation of digital health solutions, by using patient-centric, holistic and salutogenic approach supported by multisectoral activities and cooperation between responsible bodies and institutions. As the first organization of its kind in the country, DHCMK will lead the digitalisation of health and social care by identifying system’s deficiencies and undertaking activities in the appropriate domains for their optimization.

Институтот за јавно здравје на Република С. Македонија (ИЈЗ) е водечка институција посветена на промоција на здравјето и благосостојбата на населението преку научно засновани практики, иновативни истражувања и одржливи здравствени политики. Сместен на ул. Дивизија бр. 6, во истата зграда со Министерството за здравство, ИЈЗ игра клучна улога во превентивната медицинска заштита и квалитетни услуги користејќи меѓународно акредитирани методи и лаборатории. Мисијата на ИЈЗ е да обезбеди здраво и безбедно опкружување за сите граѓани, засновано на традиција на извонредност, ефикасност и силни соработки со национални и меѓународни партнери. Институтот се фокусира на мониторинг, истражување и проучување на здравствените состојби, причините и ширењето на заразните и незаразните болести од социјално и медицинско значење. Исто така, го оценува влијанието на факторите на животната средина и презема мерки за заштита и превенција. ИЈЗ е организиран во неколку одделенија, вклучувајќи Промоција на здравје и мониторинг на болести, Здравствени статистики и издаваштво, Тестирање и контрола на квалитет на лекови, Здравствена екологија, Епидемиологија на заразни болести и повеќе. Секое одделение игра витална улога во одржувањето и подобрувањето на стандардите за јавно здравје преку различни специјализирани активности. Визијата на институтот е да создаде одржлив здравствен систем и да обезбеди безбедност од глобалните и локалните закани за јавното здравје. ИЈЗ ги вреднува квалитетот, традицијата, ефикасноста, партнерството и одговорноста, стремејќи се да обезбеди највисоко ниво на услуга базирана на научни докази и најдобри практики.
