Malaria which is one of the leading causes of morbidity and mortality in South Sudan. HealthLink South Sudan, ALLIED SERVICES and IPA (International Procurement Agency b.v.) together launched a mass distribution of LLINs in Eastern Equatoria State late December 2022. The door-to-door mass distribution campaign is aimed to fight against malaria which is one of the leading causes of morbidity and mortality in South Sudan.

South Sudan Hiv Aids Commission Ssac - Republic Of South Sudan
The Commission in the performance of its functions and objective shall: 1. Formulate policies and strategies on HIV prevention; 2. Provide high level advocacy and leadership in national planning, supervision and support of HIV programs; 3. coordinate and expand the HIV response; 4. advise government on all matters relating to HIV prevention and control in South Sudan; 5. identify constrains that hinder the implementation of HIV treatment, prevention and control policies; 6. mobilize, control and manage resources available for the achievement of its objectives and monitor their allocation and utilization; 7. foster national and international linkage among all stakeholders through proper coordination of all HIV prevention and control programs and activities within the overall national multi sector strategies; 8. Disseminate and share information on HIV epidemic and its consequences in South Sudan.
