Lentorata Oy
Lentorata on uusi, suunnitteilla oleva 25 kilometrin pituinen ratayhteys, joka yhdistää Helsinki-Vantaan lentoaseman kaukojunaliikenteen piiriin. Uusi yhteys erkanee pääradasta Pasilassa ja kulkee lentoaseman kautta Keravan aseman eteläpuolelle Jäspilään, jossa se liittyy takaisin päärataan. Kaikkiaan 24 kilometriä Lentoradasta sijoittuu maan alle tunneliin. Lentorata luo suorat kaukojunayhteydet lentoasemalle ja mahdollistaa nykyistä nopeammat junayhteydet lentoasemalle kaikkialta Suomesta. Nopeampien matka-aikojen lisäksi se tuo lisää raidekapasiteettia ruuhkaiselle Pasila–Kerava-välille, ja parantaa näin junaliikenteen toimintavarmuutta koko maassa sekä mahdollistaa junatarjonnan lisäämisen vuorokauden vilkkaimpina aikoina. Lue lisää: lentorata.fi The Airport Line is a new, planned 30-kilometre rail connection that will connect Helsinki Airport to long-distance train traffic. The new connection separates from the Finnish main line in Pasila and runs through the airport north of Kerava to Kytömaa, where it rejoins the main line and the Lahti direct railway. A total of 28 kilometres of the Airport Line is located underground in a tunnel. The Airport Line will create direct long-distance train connections to the airport and enable faster train connections to the airport. In addition to faster travel times, it will increase rail capacity on the congested Pasila–Kerava route, thus improving the operational reliability of train traffic and enabling an increase in train supply.
