Ser Água
Ser Água is an evolving project dedicated to creating practical solutions for the challenges of the Anthropocene. Currently operating on a 2.5-hectare property with an interim-use house in São Miguel, Azores, Ser Água is more than a place—it’s a functional laboratory where regenerative principles are applied, tested, and refined in collaboration with the local community. At its core, Ser Água seeks to foster a deeper connection between people and the environment. Through land stewardship, cultural exchange, and sustainable development, the project serves as a hub for experimentation, dialogue, and action. By integrating local knowledge with global regenerative practices, Ser Água generates scalable solutions that inspire resilience and balance. We envision Ser Água as a space for co-creation and learning, where digital nomads, entrepreneurs, artists, and sustainability leaders come together to advance projects that benefit both people and the planet. From land restoration to educational workshops, every initiative is designed to leave a positive impact on São Miguel and beyond.
