جامع الجزائر مركز إشعاع روحي وصرح ديني علمي وثقافي، ومعلم سياحي، يقع على تراب بلدية المحمدية وسط خليج الجزائر العاصمة، يهدف إلى خدمة القرآن الكريم والسنة النبوية الشريفة وتعزيز المرجعية الوطنية والتعريف بقيم الوسطية والاعتدال، وإحداث تأثير ديني علمي على الصعيدين الوطني والدولي. ثالث أكبر مسجد في العالم بعد الحرمين الشريفين، يمتد الجامع على مساحة 300 ألف متر مربع، يتسع لـ120 ألف مصل. زاوج تصميمه بين العمارة الإسلامية وآخر ابتكارات الهندسة والبناء. تعلوه أطول منارة في العالم بـ 265 م وتتوسط قاعة الصلاة أكبر ثرية وزنها 9.5 طن من الفولاذ مطلي بالذهب الخالص. اتخذ جامع الجزائر شريط الزخرفة الخطية طابعا مميزا على جدرانه الخارجية وعلى جميع المواد المستعملة بداخله، بما يقدر بـ 6 كيلومترات، عميد جامع الجزائر هو فضيلة الشيخ محمد مأمون القاسمي الحسني. Djamaa el Djazaïr, also known as the Great Mosque of Algiers, is a large mosque located in Algiers, Algeria. Opened in April 2019, it houses the world's tallest minaret and is the third-largest mosque in the world after the Great Mosque of Mecca and Al-Masjid an-Nabawi of Medina in Saudi Arabia. The mosque features a prayer hall (salat) with an area of m2 sq ft), capable of accommodating worshippers. The central nave of this hall is surrounded by colonnades, with the mihrab located to the east, made of white marble. The hall is topped by a dome with a diameter of 50 m (160 ft), reaching a height of 70 m (230 ft). La Grande Mosquée d’Alger, Djamaâ El-Djazaïr ou mosquée d’Algérie, est une mosquée située à Alger, en Algérie. Elle est la troisième plus grande au monde, derrière la mosquée al-Haram à La Mecque et la mosquée du Prophète à Médine. La Grande Mosquée d’Alger est dotée d’une salle de prière d’une superficie de 20 m23, pouvant accueillir 120 fidèles. La nef centrale de cette salle est entourée de colonnades, à l’est se trouve le mihrab, réalisé en marbre blanc, la salle est surmontée d’une coupole d’un diamètre de 50 mètres. Le minaret est le plus haut minaret du monde.
