Covenant Life Transformation Ministries
Covenant Life Transformation Ministries was founded by Kent & Renee Jacob in 2013. Three to four years of intense prayer, research and counsel regarding the birthing of the ministry was followed by an initial vision casting meeting, which preceded six weeks of prayer meetings at a rented facility at #3 Mt. Hope Road, Mount Hope. The first official worship service was held at that location on September 01, 2013. Kent and Renee were officially installed, as the Pastors of the church, by Bishop Bertril Baird, who provided Apostolic Oversight for the ministry and profound fatherly counsel and guidance prior to its commencement. Covenant Life Transformation Ministries has been established for the purpose of equipping and empowering individuals to become authentic Disciples of Christ. This shall be accomplished through edification, exhortation and mentorship, as well as by facilitating an environment where each one can experience God and be rooted in the New Covenant, which Christ has established. Pastor Kent had been serving the Lord for twenty years prior to the establishment of this ministry. He was actively involved in pulpit ministry and supportive ministries for over nineteen years, at Miracle Ministries (Chase Village, Chaguanas, Trinidad and Tobago). Pastor Kent and Sister Renee continue to express sincere appreciation to God for Gregory and Annette Grant from Brockton, Massachusetts, USA who are also founding directors of the ministry, and the four other families that stood with their family during the incipient stage of the ministry. Several other families and individuals came to connect with the ministry as the Holy Spirit added to the church daily. One month after the official start of the ministry, seven souls followed the Lord in Water Baptism. A total of fifteen souls were baptised and much more backsliders were restored before the end of the first year in ministry. We continue to praise God for His saving grace.
