Advocates For Biodiversity Conservation
Advocates for Biodiversity Conservation (ABC) was conceived in 2015 after a meeting of a group of nature lovers who wanted to find a way to contribute to mitigating environmental degradation without compromising the livelihoods and well being of human kind. In November 2017, the initial group sold the idea to a larger group which resulted in the incorporation of ABC and its legal registration with the Registrar General’s Department of Ghana. ABC has seen tremendous growth in its programs and its impact on people, their communities and the natural resource around them. We work through partnerships with other CSOs, local communities, their leaders, government, and the private sector. This allows the programs of ABC to achieve greater impact than if these partners worked independently. Through this approach ABC is able to share best practices and lessons learnt, coordinate activities with partners, collaborators and donors.

BJJ Energy Africa was founded in 2018 as an answer to global especially the European Union’s augmented demand for sustainable green energy solutions and the EU RED 2020 targets. Since the beginning, the company has gained from the close connection to the Aldrich Energy and Environment with its many years of experience within green energy research and consultancy, trading, shipping, warehousing and wood pellet bagging. In the meantime, helping suppliers meet sustainable benchmarks in terms of quality especially has also become of great essence and fast-growing task. We work with a variety of clients, from very medium and large scale regional suppliers and distributors, thus trading industrial as well as premium grade pellets. Today, we are working towards trade of about MT wood pellets by the end of 2019, which will make us one of the largest if not the largest independent wood pellet production companies in Africa. Soon, we have plans of producing and supply of other biomass including wood chips, briquettes, charcoal, and sunflower husk pellets.
