Endurvinnslan is the only company in Iceland that exists to accept one-way bottles and cans for recycling. Endurvinnslan has 60 return facilites all over Iceland therefor it is easy for people to get their deposit paid back. The deposit is KR 14- Exportation af cans and PET About 700 tons of aluminium cans and 1800 tons of PET are brought to Endurvinnslan every year. Quality of these scraps are high leveled. Set Pipes

Steypuiðjan which later became SET, was founded in 1968 with the production of concrete sewer pipes and a decade later, insulated steel pipes for district heating. Aurora Systems Development

An additive manufacturing possessing a strong focus on the renewable energy and agriculture industries. Our goal is to utilise 3D printing to create more cost effective products dedicated to helping the effort in renewable and clean energy. For this reason, in the beginning we are creating products in the solar, and agriculture industries. Industrial 3D can can greatly reduce human error with standard manufacturing and can greatly cut down costs by an almost 100% automated parts manufacturing process. Locations in Reykjavík, Iceland -Hydroponic parts (commercial grade) Parts can be purchased separately (126 different pieces) or in a kit. We have three commercial kits available: Non-Circulating, Drip, and Mini-Next generation synthetic farm fences & gates Currently offering three types of fences and are made from recycled thermoplastics. Any type of fence can be made or replicated (for an additional fee). We would come out and scan the fence/gate that you would want made and we will upload the dimensions instantly to our printers. Future production-Carbon Fibre production (begins May 2018) Carbon fibre costs are primarily driven by its manufacture. Within the manufacturing process, petroleum-based precursors account for just over half the cost of carbon fiber. Across the industry, manufacturing costs are dominated by the high cost of carbon fiber precursor materials. Along side the printer, the greatest advantage to our LEED facility is simply the energy.our facility is completely powered by renewables.using geothermal exhaust as both a heat and power source for our entire facility-Solar cells and solar cell strips (mass production; estimated production date: November 2017) Solar strips using less than 3 microns of silicone. Solar strips are flexible, durable, and are 15% more efficient than standard solar panel production. Solar strips are 45% cheaper, passing on the savings to the consumer.

Jarðhitafélag Íslands (JHFÍ) var stofnsett þann 19. maí og eru félagar þess yfir 200 talsins. Meðal félaga JHFÍ eru 16 fyrirtæki, stofnanir og samtök sem vinna með eða eru tengd jarðhita og málefnum hans. Markmið félagsins eru: Kynna störf íslenskra jarðhitamanna Efna til umræðufunda um áhugaverð mál tengd jarðhita Efla samstarf jarðhitamanna í hinum ýmsu geirum atvinnulífsins Vera aðili að alþjóðasamtökum og alþjóðasamvinnu á sviði jarðhita Aðild Þeim sem óska að gerast aðilar að Jarðhitafélagi Íslands er bent á að senda erindi á ritara stjórnar (í póstfangið sigurjon@samorka.is).
