The Cranio-Facial Research Laboratory (CFRL), a component of the Health Technology Pole at Saint Joseph University of Beirut, is a joint center for research and innovation, linking the interface between the clinic and basic research in Dentistry. The Kamal A. Shair Central Research Science Laboratory (KAS CRSL) at the American University of Beirut is a five-million-dollar Faculty of Arts & Sciences facility housing more than 40 major equipment distributed between Four Areas (Central Wing, East Wing, West Wing, and Basement;~400 m2) and a multitude of other multi-user equipment and facilities. The KAS CRSL is considered as the pride of FAS and AUB, as it serves research in most disciplines across AUB (mainly FAS, MSFEA, FAFS, FHS, FM) and constitutes a state-of-the-art platform essential for a thriving and progressive university research environment. The KAS CRSL is comprised of Six Main Sections: Bioscience, Chromatography, Magnetoscience, Materials Science, Microscopy & Imaging, Spectrophotometry. The KAS CRSL complements other specialized departmental and faculty research laboratories, and as such aims at promoting individual as well as joint and multidisciplinary cooperative research. The KAS CRSL is a testimony to AUB's commitment in advancing science, technology, research, and innovation at the highest levels of quality and safety. There are more than 300 active users working and conducting their research studies at the KAS CRSL and producing more than 250 publications per year. National Center For Marine Sciences - Ncms-Cnrs Lebanon
The National Center for Marine Sciences-CNRSL was established in 1977. The decision to establish the centre (1975) was a national response to the 1972 Stockholm Conference. The centre is a recognized institute within the Mediterranean network of marine centers and is integrated in a number of regional and international activities. Research activities at the center focus on the following themes: A. Monitoring of the entire coastal zone in the framework of a national monthly monitoring program. B. Biogeochemical measurements and time-series surveys in the context of the climate change and ocean acidification. C. Detection of the pollution sources on the coastline and assessment of the transfer and bioaccumulation of chemical compounds in the coastal and marine ecosystems. D. Evaluation of the marine species (from plankton to cetaceans) and their habitats, and assessment of the migratory species and their influences on local ecosystems. E. Ichtyological studies and fishery stock evaluation. جمعية آل داعوق هي جمعية تبني على ما فعلته جمعية الداعوق التي أسست عام 1930. هدفنا المحافظة على تراث آل الداعوق وأهالي بيروت القديمة التي عاصرتها مدى العصور إلى يومنا الحالي. يوجد لدى الجمعية موقع إلكتروني بحيث يستطيع المشترك أن يبحث عن أفراد من آل الدعوق من خلال الشجرة العائلية الالكترونية المفصلة التي يعود بحثها التاريخي إلى ال-1750. An online association that builds upon the Daouk Association (est.1931) that engages in ancestral research, family history and family genealogy; mostly focusing on Beirut in Lebanon. Al-Daouk Organization also has a user portal which offers an interactive genealogy tree of Beiruti families going back to 250 years ago. Al-Daouk Organization is the originator of Archive Lebanon an online website offering insight to the history of Lebanon, its cities and its families.

Zakirat Loubnan will try to bring together the various stories of Lebanon’s history, including its controversial topics, to try to understand, and ultimately clarify, the historical complexity that constitutes our country.
