Cancer Registry Of Norway Kreftregisteret
The Cancer Registry of Norway, Institute of Population-based Cancer Research, was established in 1951. It is one of the oldest national cancer registries in the world. This, combined with the unique personal identification number used in Norway, makes the Cancer Registry’s data suitable, also internationally; by establishing new knowledge through research and spreading information on cancer. The Cancer Registry is part of South-Eastern Norway Regional Health Authority and is organized as an independent institution under Oslo University Hospital Trust, with its own board. All medical doctors in the country are instructed by law to notify new cancer cases to us. Cancer must be notified in case of cancer suspicion, even without a verified cancer diagnosis, and also if cancer is first diagnosed by autopsy. In case of doubt, a notification must be sent. Cancer information comes from several independent sources, thus securing a high grade of completeness. We receive about 140 notifications related to cancer illness annually. Of these, almost 30 are newly diagnosed. The Cancer Registry is responsible for the national screening programmes: Breast Cancer Screening Programme and Cervical Cancer Screening Programme. The goal is to prevent cancer death by discovering cancer or pre cancerous lesions as early as possible. The Registry’s competence within diagnostics and treatment is increasing steadily. With this as a background, the Cancer Registry has during the past 20 years and in cooperation with the clinical milieu in Norway developed clinical registries to ultimately improve the treatment of cancer.

International Library Of Fashion Research
Mission Fashion is one of our most significant cultural artifacts — an expression of our values and fascinations, and an impression of a moment in time with social, political, and economic dimensions. Yet because much of its printed matter is created for commercial or informal ends, it rarely receives the thorough study it deserves. Ultimately there is a need for intellectual enterprise, new narratives and a healthy collective environment to interact with the actual production and positioning of fashion. Founded in 2020, the Library will become the world’s most comprehensive repository of specialized fashion research and contemporary fashion publications. We will fill a much-needed gap in the preservation of and critical engagement with fashion’s printed culture at an institutional level, and build a free, globally accessible resource for fashion researchers, industry professionals, and amateur enthusiasts. International Library of Fashion Research is actively working not only to preserve fashion’s past, but to understand its present and contribute to its future. Collection The library’s foundation is based on a seed donation of pieces of contemporary printed matter dating from 1975 until present. It includes books, magazines, lookbooks, show invitations, illustrations, ephemera, acquired from various private collectors. The collection will continue to grow via further donations from global fashion houses, publishers and practitioners, animated by an extensive program of talks, digital annotations and micro-curations.

The National Committee for Research Ethics in the Social Sciences and the Humanities (NESH) NESH works at policy level by setting guidelines and general statements and meeting. The Committee also deals with individual research projects. The National Commission for the Investigation of Research Misconduct If you suspect some kind of research misconduct in your research institution, private or public, you should first check out the procedures set by your institution how to handle such allegations. As a whistle-blower you are protected by the The Working Environment Act. Institutions may redirect an investigation to the Commission if, for example, a case is deemed particularly complicated, has received considerable public attention or due to possible conflicts of interest. The Commission may also decide to investigate a case under authority of the law on misconduct at its own initiative.

Ocean Industries Concept Lab
We are a design centered research group situated at the Oslo School of Architecture and Design (AHO) in Oslo, Norway. We focus on developing knowledge supporting design of advanced workplaces in the Ocean Industries. Digital innovation has a tremendous impact on the Ocean Industries. However, the rapid change enabled by digital innovation, have in many cases made people the bottleneck for new innovation. In short there is a gap between digital innovation in the maritime industries and people’s ability to use these solutions safely and efficiently in practice. We argue the industry has to change approach to human centered innovation in order to take advantage of digitization and new enabling technologies for safer and more efficient workplaces. Ocean Industries Concept Lab is a research group committed to develop knowledge that support user centered innovation processes in the maritime domain. We are rooted in design practice such as industrial, interaction and service design and carry out our projects in close collaboration with leading actors in the Ocean Industries. During the last 5 years we have collaborated with over 40 companies.

Senter For Beredskap Og Samvirke - Nordlab
