Our Location Galleri Heike Arndt DK is originally a Danish gallery, located in Kettinge on Lolland in Denmark since 1989. In 2008, the gallery expanded to Friedrichshain in old East Berlin. Focus Galleri Heike Arndt DK encourages a dynamic dialogue between the Nordic art scene and the art scene in Berlin, often in collaboration with other galleries, museums and cultural institutions. Nordic artists and German-based artists are offered the opportunity to exhibit their artwork together, reach out to a different audience and connect with colleagues through cross-cultural projects. Galleri Heike Arndt DK is defined as ”klein aber fein” and focuses on displaying contemporary art such as paintings, sculptures, drawings, graphic prints and new media. In our growing graphic department, there is a permanent selection available with more than 400 pieces of Scandinavian and German prints. The gallery also offers different kinds of activities, events and projects. The social focus is taken with our monthly event - Scandinavian Meeting Point Berlin, our open stage for musicians, our common book shelf and, of course, our open call exhibitions where everybody is welcome to apply.

Benedikte Marie bruger verdenen, hverdagen og ikke mindst menneskene omkring hende til sine smukke malerier. ”Kunst vælges med hjertet. Min kunst bliver malet med hjertet, og det vil jeg gerne give videre. Kærligheden til det personlige og det unikke i os mennesker, det bør vi fokusere mere på.” Derfor har Benedikte Maries malerier også et helt særligt fokus: Kvinder og månedspiger. Hver kvinde har med deres smukke ansigter sin egen baggrund og historie. ”Pigerne og kvinderne skal skabe eftertænksomhed. Jeg vil gerne skabe billeder med dybde, og prøver derfor at skitsere det smukke og forskellige i os kvinder.” Med udstillinger hos Galleri Art Expo og Galleri Nina Sampson markerer Benedikte Marie sig som en ambitiøs billedkunstner med sit helt eget særpræg. Galleri Art Expo holder til i Jylland og har mere end 50 forskellige kunstnere tilknyttet og er et meget velbesøgt sted. Benedikte Marie er uddannet grafiker tilbage i 2004 og har arbejdet som dette ved siden af tilværelsen som billedkunstner. I september 2018 tog Benedikte Marie springet, og arbejder nu på fuld tid med sin kunst. Udover tilknytningen til Galleri Art Expo og Galleri Nina Sampson kan Benedikte Maries værker også opleves på forskellige kunstmesser.

Siden 2006 har Galleri kbh kunst præsenteret samtidskunst af både etablerede og upcoming kunstnere. Galleriets profil er fortrinsvis farverig kunst og især maleriet står stærkt i kbh kunst. Fonden Blindes Arbejde blev stiftet i 1929 for at skabe beskæftigelse for blinde og stærkt svagsynede indenfor håndværk, industri og service. I perioden fra 1984 - 2005 var virksomheden en selvejende institution i Københavns Kommune, og i 2005 blev virksomheden omdannet til en erhvervsdrivende fond. I 2016 blev virksomheden registreret som socialøkonomisk virksomhed. Hovedsædet for virksomheden ligger i København NV, hvor også de tre hovedhåndværk har sit afsæt - Børste- og kosteproduktion, tekstilfremstilling via vævning og Kurve- og stoleflet. Fonden Blindes Arbejde skaber beskæftigelse indenfor de nævnte håndværk, samt som salgsassistenter i butiks- eller erhvervssalg, indenfor lager, samt servicefagene reception og køkken. Virksomheden har fem butikker fordelt rundt i landet, henholdsvis i København K, Århus, Odense, Horsens og Slagelse. I de fire afdelinger udenfor København er der også håndværksproduktion. Fundation Blind Workers Company was founded in 1929 to create employment for the blind and partially sighted in trade, industry and service. In the period 1984 - 2005 the company was an independent institution in the City of Copenhagen, and in 2005 the company became a foundation. In 2016 the company was registered as a social enterprise. The headquarters of the company is located in Copenhagen NV, where also the three main craft has it's production - Brush and cost of production, textile production via weaving, basket making and chairs merge. The company creates employment in these crafts, as well as sales assistants in retail or corporate sales, in stock, and service industries reception and kitchen. The company has five retailstores spread throughout the country, respectively, in Copenhagen K, Aarhus, Odense, Horsens and Slagelse. In the four departments outside Copenhagen, there are also craft production.

Bag de 40 års erfaring gemmer der sig ingen ringere end Flemming Jensen, tidligere Flemming Jensens Malerværksted, også kaldet Raadvadmaleren. Nu har Flemming Jensen og Lone Broholt slået sig sammen og dannet Lys & Farve og vil sammen gøre Danmark smukkere. Flemming Jensen fungerer som faglig leder i Lys & Farve, hvor han udøver sin mangeårige kunnen. Flemming arbejder både som malermester og konsulent samt afholder kurser i de historiske malerteknikker. Vores force er det gamle håndværk, hvori Flemming Jensen har udlært omkring 50 lærlinge. Vi dyrker den gamle kulturarv, som er så vigtig for vort samfund og efterkommere og sætter en ære i at restaurere historiske bygninger, ældre huse med sjæl og ynder at bruge de gamle limfarver og lindoliemalingen. Vi marmorerer og udfører ådringer, laver frescoer og meget mere. Lone Broholt har 20 års erfaring med den administrative del af håndværksbranchen, som efterhånden er blevet meget omfattende pga. arbejdsmiljø og vores digitale verden der kræver sit af en håndværker. Hånd og ånd er Flemmings motto og den kan han udleve og bidrage til dit næste projekt om det måtte være en dør der skal males eller et helt hus. Intet er for småt og ej noget for stort.

Backhaus Brown er eksklusiv, unika glaskunst skabt af glaspusterne Nanna Backhaus Brown og Andrew Brown. Vi har haft eget glaspusteri siden 1993 og har siden 2008 haft adresse på Hundested Havn - på kajkanten omgivet af lys og hav. Netop i lyset og naturen henter vi inspirationen i vores arbejde med glasset. Vi skaber både unika glaskunst og mundblæst kunsthåndværk. Gennem årene har vi bl.a. specialiseret os i de klassiske italienske teknikker battuto og pastorelli, som vi tilføjer et skandinavisk design. På vores repertoire står store vaser, fade og skåle mm. Vi har fordybet os i belysning, hvor vi har skabt en række unika: Pendler, lamper, lysekroner og glasskærme. I 2017 etablerede vi et samarbejde med møbelsnedkeriet Egeværk. Sammen har vi udviklet en serie unika skulpturer af ”Glasskibe” - vikingeskibe hvor glasset spiller op mod træet - og omvendt. Backhaus Brown på Hundested Havn er både galleri, butik og arbejdende værksted. Vi designer gerne i dialog med kunden, så værkerne er skabt direkte til omgivelserne. Blandt vores kunder er såvel private som samlere og virksomheder, ligesom der bliver købt gaver til Kongehuset hos Backhaus Brown. Dansk-Kinesisk Kultur Innovation (DKKI) arbejder med udgangspunkt i kulturudveksling, for at skabe og udvikler kulturelle, kommercielle og innovative partnerskaber med dansk-kinesisk samarbejde i fokus. Formålet er at give mennesker indsigt i landenes forskelligartede, og på hver sin måde rige, kulturliv og derigennem skabe en tværgående kulturel forståelse. Med det udgangspunkt er det visionen at skabe vækst, kulturudveksling og samhandel. DKKI så dagens lys efter at stifter og direktør Lin Li Nissen deltog i Network Culture and Intelligence Industry Expo arrangeret af den kinesiske regering og afholdt i byen Xi´an i Kina. Lin Li Nissen, som er født i Xi´an og nu bosat i Danmark, var inviteret af Det Dansk-Kinesiske Kulturhus for at tale om potentialet i dansk-kinesisk kulturudveksling. Som følge af foredraget modtog Lin Li Nissen henvendelser fra en række filmselskaber og lokale embedsfolk som var interesseret i samarbejde med danske virksomheder og kulturinstitutioner. På baggrund af efterspørgslen blev Dansk-Kinesisk Kultur Innovation grundlagt i foråret 2016.

Marius Budu is a visual artist working with photography and the human figure. He is currently based in Copenhagen, Denmark. His stunning way of expressing the essence of the human condition has captured tens of thousands of art lovers worldwide. This has ensured him exhibitions at galleries and museums in countries like The United States, Canada, France, China, Romania, Sweden and Denmark. Marius Budu’s photographs are strong and focused, with few details supporting the clear impression of one thought or emotion. Through his unique use of light and shading, the pieces create structure and emphasize the sparse, yet vivid colors. The photographs are driven by his fascination with the human body as a raw material for art: sculptured, twisted and focused on the minute details, revealing its inherent individuality.
