In 2004 Patricia completed an MA Degree in Design Studies from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, in London, where she lived for 8 years and established her design-craft-art practice.'Design - Craft - Art : I try to blur their boundaries. good thought and good design that should go into the piece, the hand-crafted aspect and the skill which it requires as well as my artistic expression- all three are as important to me.' P Gurgel-Segrillo is a member of Visual Artists Ireland, registered with the Crafts Council of Ireland and the London Assay Office, and is thankful for the support of the New Irish Art Project and for the assistance of the Cork City Enterprise Office. The Satin Scent
What is a wax melt? Wax melts are small, scented pieces of wax designed to be gently heated to release their fragrance. They’re like candles but without the wick, meaning that they require a wax warmer to melt and diffuse the fragrance. When in use, they melt completely to create an even scent distribution. The Satin Scent Wax Melts come in different shapes and sizes, which can be snapped and separated into individual cubes. We recommend using 2-3 pieces at a time, offering you up to 60 hours of luxurious fragrance. Our wax melts have all the benefits of a flame-free candle alternative, meaning you can still experience the same great scent sensation. Wax melts are excellent for smaller rooms like bedrooms and bathrooms. How to use a wax melt Set up your Wax Burner on a flat surface. Ensure that the top dish is clean. Break up your Scent Plus Wax Melt to ensure an even melt and fragrance distribution. We recommend popping two or three cubes into the dish for optimum fragrance throw. Light your tealight to warm Wax Burner. Enjoy hours of long lasting fragrance! When you’re finished with your warmer, or when the wax has burned off all of its fragrance, simply blow out your tealight. Remove the wax (we’ll explain how below!) and get ready to add your next fabulous fragrance to the warmer. What fragrances do wax melts come in? Good news, Our Satin Scent Wax Melts come in all fragrances! From fresh and clean, to floral and fruity, there’s a scent for you, no matter what your personal taste is. If you like to layer your fragrances, The Satin Scent Wax Melts have been designed to be easily customisable. Mix and match your favourite Satin Scent fragrances to create your Signature Scent. Our wax melts are available in some of our new 2020 fragrances as well as some seasonal classics. Indulge in your favourite autumnal aromas or deck the halls with holiday fragrance. Check out the Spring scents you’ll fall in love with.

Kat Creations
KAT Creations was formed in 2010 to run a creative Art & Craft Workshop Program for groups of Residents in Nursing Homes in Dublin, Ireland. Our Art Projects were originally developed for groups of older Artists in the Care Environment who required a little assistance to complete their artworks, but we have discovered to our greatest delight that our projects are being enjoyed by all kinds of adventurous groups of Artists. A few that we know of are - Families getting creative together, Youth Groups decorating their spaces for special occasions such as Halloween and Christmas, Moms drinking tea and making hand painted cards and picture frames, Craft groups making things to sell at their local fete. Our Projects are designed for groups from 4 to 12 Artists of any ability, where some might have done art before and others not. Most participating Artists are able to hold a paint brush in one way or another, although some may be limited in their motor skills such as not being able to use both hands, and many may experience shaking hands, poor eye sight and other physical and/or cognitive limitations. Paper Tulpis (15@72) Our Art & Craft Projects are designed to be simple and easily manageable by most. Each Project takes the Artist on a journey where he or she can participate as they choose at the level they are able. With encouragement the Artists can produce something creative and uniquely individual. These workshops lead to the production of Works of Art that do not resemble something perfectly made in a factory or by an expert. They are true handmade treasures! The Projects are not really about the art at all, but about the person doing the art! Its not about how well they can do the art, but what the experience of doing the art can do for them. it's about having fun and self expression.

Katie Makes
Katie Makes. is a pandemic baby of sorts. When face coverings became mandatory, I knew that I wanted to provide an alternative to disposable masks, as the litter of discarded masks was impossible to ignore. After some trial and error, a perfect pattern emerged and mask production began! Using 100% cotton, and sourcing recycled thread where possible, Katie Makes. masks were made to be used, washed, and worn over and over again, to make sustainability hassle free and convenient. Katie Makes… does its best to Reduce Reuse and Recycle as much as possible. Waste is severely frowned upon, and it inspires even more creativity by finding ways to make use of every scrap of fabric. I've always been an artist in many disciplines, so I knew that my business could grow beyond masks (as hopefully we won’t need them too much longer!) and is continuing to do so. I’ve developed a love for upcycling and simply adore making unique items that are exclusive to Katie Makes… I follow the materials that I am inspired by, be it fabrics, paints, or clay. Katie Makes… is a showcase of craftswomanship and creation, and an accessible way to shop locally for beautiful, handmade gifts made from eco-friendly materials brought to you in eco-friendly packages. From stylish yet practical face coverings, to children's aprons constructed from upcycled materials, to a range of artwork in various mediums, there is no doubt you’ll find a gift to make you or a loved one smile.

Edde Art
What we do EDDE is an independent art studio combining the creative talents and experiences of artists Els Borghart and Declan Kelly. We are creative minds bursting with ideas which we paint and draw. These original artworks are then reproduced as premium fine art prints and available in our webshop. We also take on commissions and are open to partnerships & collaborations. EDDE was born from the desire to bring pops of colour and art into people’s lives. Our philosophy EDDE represents quality and integrity. We are passionate about our art and our customers. Every image is hand painted and drawn with high quality materials. To reflect this process as best as possible in our prints, we work with the giclee reproduction print technology while printing on high quality archival paper. The result is a fine premium print with superb depth in colour that lasts a lifetime. Our future Els and Declan continuously travel the world, from backpacking in Mexico over road tripping in the USA to city tripping around the globe and island hopping in Europe. Often their journeys also take place closer to home, roaming beaches and forests, their home towns and the bustling cities in Belgium and Ireland. Their many adventures allow them to build a grand database of photographs and to gather numerous stories. This well of inspiration drives them to make colourful artworks. Each new adventure is the seed to a new collection of works. Els and Declan often work together, from curating exhibitions, developing youth art workshops to programming arts festivals and sharing studio spaces. Tapping in and out of experimenting making art together, concepts and visuals surface. And so EDDE saw the light in January 2016. We can’t wait to see where this adventure will lead us!

Spitting Image Art Gallery
Spitting Image is a supplier of hand-painted oil paintings on canvas. There are a variety of styles and subjects which are of a very high quality. All of our artists are professional. We can turn all pictures or photos into custom made hand-painted paintings. We always keep your special order confidential to ensure it is not copied or appear as examples of our work on our website. African art has received broad interest in recent years, and contemporary African art has become extremely popular. Zimbabwe, a southern African country whose name literally means “the house of stone,” is known for its remarkable stone sculptors. Some Shona sculptors are considered to be among the top sculptors in the world. Semi-abstract sculptures created by artists of the country’s largest ethnic group can be found in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art in New York. The Shona sculptors' work is inspired by their deeply-held spiritual beliefs, folklore and daily life, and have in turn inspired many western artists. It is believed that Pablo Picasso may have been influenced by this art form. While modern in inspiration, their sculptures are created much as they were thousands of years ago. The sculptors use simple chisels to “release” the spirits of the stone. We at Spitting Image are now displaying a beautiful collection of this sculpture. It has to be seen to be appreciated.
