The Sierra Leone Correctional Service is a state owned institution with the mandate of providing security for the citizens of Sierra Leone. The Correctional Service is the only entity responsible for incarcerating people who have offended the laws of Sierra Leone as established. The center presently has 19 correctional service nationwide and with over inmates in holding.
