SPM was founded in 1988 by Ambrogio Sala, who is still the President of the company. The production of Wire Rod is realized with last generation electric oven, fully automated and with zero impact in terms of emissions, which combined with the use of high quality cathodes ( registered registered grade “A”), allows the output of oxygen free wire rod with an oxygen content of 2ppmm. The diameter can be of 8 mm and be supplied in coils with an average weight of 4 tons but with the possibility of maximum 5 tons.
