Although established in 2005, our history predates 1930 with our founder, Matteo Garrè. Who had experience in the shipyarding field, which to this day remains vital to our business identity. He then became a “ship owner” in the 60s with his first ship named, “KARACHI”. Seeing that it turned out to be very profitable and quite lucky, this vessel later inspired our tradition to name all our ships with the letter ‘K’ — foreseeing our company’s name, K-Ships. In 2005, Matteo Garrè’s son, Ferdinando Garrè, and Engineer Francesco Russo met to discuss an ambitious partnership. An “in-house” ship management company, dedicated exclusively to operating a fleet of Oil and Chemical Tankers. Karina, Kachemire, and Ianuk were the first 3 vessels we managed. Since then K-Ships has managed several ships, our current 4 being Greta K, Nike, Aethalia, and Korsaro, and have expanded towards dry cargo ships. A final Key component that makes K-Ships stand out is our naval architectural background, which was brought to us by our Co-Founder and now CEO, Engineer Francesco Russo. Who consequently played an important role in combining our two offices. While the Genova office, the company's headquarters, focuses on the commercial side of things, our office in Messina Strait specializes in naval engineering and design. This dynamic has significantly fortified and expanded our technical management department, providing us with the capability to deliver different and more niche services to our vessels as well as the market.

SAVI was established in 1950 and since then operates in the shipbuilding and ship repair, developing its activities in Italy and abroad, with specific reference to the refitting of entire areas of the ship, providing a “turnkey” product, from the plants to the finishing of furniture. SAVI is a modern and dynamic company that has been able to change in the years to adapt to the diverse and changing needs of the market and the increasingly challenging demands of our customers. Since the early hull maintenance activities, such as sandblasting and painting, it moved to the insulation works and flooring, still today services provided by SAVI to its customers. Cantieri Capelli
Established in 1974, the Capelli Boatyard at Spinadesco (Cremona, Northern Italy) has since become one of the leading manufacturers of small- to medium-sized boats. It was Davide Capelli’s love for the River Po, together with his limitless creativity, that gave him the impetus to set up a new business. He started out by building flat-keel riverboats out of fiberglass, and was soon joined by his young son, Umberto, who concentrated on designing and building new types of canoe intended for use in competitions. The turning point came at the Genoa Boat Show in 1986, when the Capelli Boatyard unveiled the first 4.7 meter Fisherman – it was rapturously received. In 1992, the company diversified its manufacturing to produce a line of fiberglass-keel inflatable boats which have gone on to win a substantial share of the market. The boatyard currently manufactures 16 different models of fiberglass boat and 29 different inflatable boats.The success of the ever-evolving Capelli Boatyard can be attributed to two principal factors: the consistent quality of the boats themselves and the forward-looking organizational structure of the company. In 1960, Bellini Nautica was founded by Battista Bellini, a man with a strong passion for the sea and the art of navigation. He initiated the production of wooden boats bearing the Bellini signature, creating distinctive and refined models that soon became emblematic of quality and tradition. Over the years, the shipyard produced a significant number of boats, each representing a unique chapter in the history of the Bellini brand. In 1982, a moment of great sorrow struck the company when founder Battista Bellini passed away. At the age of only 16, his son Romano Bellini took over the business and began his career. Subsequently, the shipyard expanded significantly, adding 4 new warehouses, a water testing pool, and acquiring specialized expertise in restoration and painting processes. In 2011, Battista Bellini initiated a path of digitalization, steering the company into the modern era and opening new opportunities for growth and development. In 2019, Bellini Nautica, led by Martina Bellini, collaborated with international artists such as Britto, Brainwash, Xavier Casalta, and Fabian Oefner, bringing art and creativity to the heart of the brand. The year 2022 marked another significant chapter in the history of Bellini Nautica, with the company's IPO consolidating its position in the financial market. Now our team is made up of professionals (engineers, architects and draftsmen) able to satisfy the demands of the naval industry: from 3D ship design to shipowner's consultancy, from engineering calculation to construction supervision. What we do SHIP & BOAT provides multiple flexible and high quality services by offering engineering capacity to shipowners and shipyards starting from the initial conceptual design phase, following the basic design and ending with detailed design. We also deal with the management of ships, administrative procedures for registration and updating with the flag authorities and is representative of the following flags: Saint Vincent and The Granadines, Palau and Sierra Leone. The competence of our team and its limited dimensions gives everyone the opportunity to participate and contribute to decisions during the design or management process and adapts more quickly and easily to the necessary changes or new initiatives or solutions. We do not invest only in our team, but also in software. Some of the programs we use are: AutoCad, Inventor, Rhinoceros, Orca3D, ShipConstructor, PIAS and Naviswork.

For this reason, the entire production process is internal to our company: from the design to the choice of fabrics, up to the carbon fibre manufacture process. Experience is necessary to take advantage of all the features of carbon fiber, especially if it is a strategic component of design and production. Arpeca Spa
Arpeca is an established refit yard in Viareggio. Since 1992, has been working on hauling-out and launches, providing also full refit and maintenance works to yachts up to 50m LOA thanks to state-of-the-art facilities and an efficient connection with a wide network of subcontractors, covering all kind of jobs and materials. The new 560-tonne travel lift operates in a 12m x 35m lifting bay, completed by a 200-tonne trolley to move the yachts on the sq. m yard. At Arpeca’s are available berthing to moor yachts up to 50m LOA, assisted by a service tender. The shipyard provides customers with equipment storage boxes. WI-FI is granted on all the shipyard area. Arpeca can deliver yachts to and from Viareggio. Arpeca has installed a full closed circuit wastewater and scrap recycle system to operate in the highest environmental sensitivity, complying with the Ethical Code of the Corporate Organizational Model (D.Lgs. The concept of leadership has always characterized Baglietto since the very beginning, when in 1854 Pietro Baglietto started to build small wooden boats in the back-yard of his house. A new chapter begun for Baglietto, when it was acquired by Gavio Group in 2012, with the aim to prove once again the place of Baglietto among major international shipbuilder yards. As of today the shipyard occupies an area of square m and the completion of two new covered plants for the building of motor-yachts up to 65-meter in length and two piers allowing the mooring of motor-yachts up to 70-meter in length have just been completed.
