Happo-One Kaihatsu Co., Ltd
Happo-one Kaihatsu Co, Ltd. has operated Hakuba Happo One Ski Resort, one of Japan's leading international mountain resorts, for over 60 years. Happo-one Kaihatsu manages 15 lifts, course management, and restaurant business. Recently, the number of foreign guests seeking the best snow in Hakuba has increased, and our services have been diversifying. Still, we are ready to provide everyone with a safe and secure skiing experience. Additionally, using the Hakuba Happo Onsen, a hot spring source on the right bank of the Minamata River, just below Hakuba Yarigatake (2,903m) in the Northern Alps, we operate five one-day bathing facilities, three footbaths, and supply hot spring water to approximately 75 lodging facilities. The hot spring gushes out through the serpentine rock formation, a characteristic of the geology of Happo One, and is a clear, colorless, alkaline simple spring. The hydrogen ion concentration is pH 11.2 when sampled and pH 11.6 when analyzed, making it one of the most strongly alkaline hot springs in Japan. The strongly alkaline hot spring has the effect of removing dirt and dead skin cells from the surface of the skin (peeling effect), and when you actually soak in the water you will notice that your skin immediately becomes smooth and smooth. Moreover, in 2019, we opened the Snow Peak FIELD SUITE HAKUBA KITAONE KOGEN, an auberge-style luxury glamping facility, in Kitaone Kogen, a spectacular location at 1200m elevation in the middle of Happoone. It is very favored as a gastronomy in the sky.
