OUR MISSION The first computer built, filled an entire room. Today they fit in our pocket. The space industry is going through the same revolution and Aether is a response to that phenomena. CubeSats are nanosatellites of 10x10x10 cm, the size of a Rubik's cube. They have allowed countless new innovations in the space industry and have numerous applications. We design, build and launch these bad boys into space! We distinguish ourselves by focusing on the design of CubeSats that survive atmospheric re-entry. ESRE gathers European RTOs (research & technology organisations) with a governmental mandate for space research. It aims at- Intensifying the cooperation between its Members, aimed at further coordination and integration of their space related research activities- Improving and intensifying the cooperation of the Association and its Members with third parties in the space domain; in particular in Europe and with European industry- Contributing to the global competitiveness of the European space sector- Positioning ESRE and its members as one voice offering harmonized views to European industry, governments and institutions in the field of space and innovative research.

Paraloon
ParaLoon develops inflatable / unfoldable "parabolic balloon" concentrator photovoltaic (CPV) systems to collect both photonic and thermal solar energy for applications in space and on earth. Applications in space would include satellites, space stations, habitats or mission vehicles. On earth, these structures could be used for remote areas, recreational / defense / refugee or other campsites, emergency situations or mobile applications. The ParaLoon system combines lightweight, inflatable / unfoldable, parabolic reflector structures and different energy conversion technologies, e.g. concentrator photovoltaic (CPV) technologies, for the efficient conversion of solar energy to electric energy and optionally also heat. If wireless power beaming becomes a reality, the electric energy could also be transferred to users in space, on Earth or even on the Moon or Mars by satellites or a satellite network in the future.

Star Forge is a deep-tech company delivering products and services in positioning and navigation for both space and terrestrial applications. Our expertise include space optical navigation and attitude estimation, supporting clients developing spacecraft systems that rely on vision-based sensing. We work closely with mission teams to design, simulate, and validate navigation and estimation architectures using multi-sensor optical systems. Star Forge covers algorithm development for relative navigation, feature tracking, and pose estimation. We assist at every phase, from early concept design and technology trades to hardware-in-the-loop testing and flight qualification.
