Grasp Earth
We are a research-driven company specializing in Earth Observation, remote sensing, and environmental sciences. Our goal is to develop and implement technologies that improve the monitoring and understanding of the Earth's atmosphere and surface. Our main area of expertise is the monitoring of aerosols and particulate matter. We use polarimetric observations, which are widely recognized in the scientific community as the most effective method for observing these particles in the atmosphere. Our work combines advanced algorithms, computing tools, and data from both ground-based and satellite instruments to extract accurate and consistent information on air quality and atmospheric composition. One of our key innovations is the GRASP algorithm (Generalized Retrieval of Atmosphere and Surface Properties), which improves the interpretation of satellite and ground data through synergetic retrieval, providing detailed information on atmospheric and surface properties. GRASP is used operationally in public Earth Observation missions such as Sentinel-4, 3MI, and CO2M. It is also central to our second major innovation: a private constellation of MAP (Multi-Angle Polarimetric) nano-satellites. These satellites collect aerosol data that is integrated with public datasets using GRASP, providing a more complete and accurate understanding of atmospheric processes. Our team combines expertise across a broad spectrum of scientific and engineering fields including physics, atmospheric and environmental sciences, mathematics, ML/AI, data science, and remote sensing, working collaboratively to develop solutions that address urgent global environmental issues. With the first private polarimetric mission operational, we strive to be leaders in air quality monitoring.

Committee On Space Research - Cospar
After the USSR opened he space age by launching its first Earth Satellite in 1957, the International Council of Scientific Unions (ICSU), now the International Science Council (ISC), established its Committee on Space Research (COSPAR) during an international meeting in London in 1958. COSPAR promotes scientific research in space at an international level, with emphasis on the exchange of results, information, and opinions, and provides a forum, open to all scientists. We endeavor to ensure that a vibrant international space research effort can be conducted without impediment from geopolitical tensions or differences. In its first years of existence COSPAR, as an entity that ignores political considerations and views all questions solely from the scientific standpoint, played an important role as an open bridge between East and West for cooperation in space. When this role became less prominent with the decline in rivalry between the two blocs, COSPAR, as an interdisciplinary scientific organization, focused its objectives on the progress of all kinds of research carried out with the use of space.

Stratoflight
Stratoflight is a French company developing a multimodal manned vehicle for stratospheric flights using a zero-pressure balloon. Business activities include space tourism and scientific missions. Stratoflight is the operator of the flights. Under a balloon using decarbonated hydrogen, a capsule will reach the altitude of meters where six passengers (4 passengers and 2 pilots) can stay for up to one hour. The descent will begin by venting some of the lifting gas. Once the altitude of m is reached, the capsule is released and a high performance parafoil is deployed. The two pilots will fly the vehicle to a selected landing field and will land at low speed. Key developments include the manned vehicle, specific types of parafoils for the descent and pressure suit for passengers. Several innovations will be patented. Space tourism is a nascent market targeting individuals looking for unique experiences. Beyond the ecological aspect of using decarbonated hydrogen, the main differentiating factor of the project is the extra-vehicular activity (EVA) taking place from a balcony at the rear of the capsule. From there, passengers can admire the extraordinary view and the earth curvature from a horizon from Amsterdam to Barcelona equipped with pressure suits like astronauts. The first flight is scheduled for 2025.

Through this process, algorithms will be developed to assist the artificial intelligence systems of orbiting sensors in recognizing identical parameters, creating alerts, and enabling efficient monitoring. Strategically located in Brazil, we will construct one of the country's first commercial ground stations. This facility will serve as the hub for controlling and managing the activities of our satellite constellation, as well as tracking, monitoring, or facilitating data transfer for any other satellite entering our territory. Alya is also in the process of incorporation in Europe, a strategic move to globalize our activities and leverage competencies from previous experiences. This involves forming more than a dozen commercial partnerships, adding significant value and reliability to our space activities with earth observation nanosatellites and developing shared mission systems.
