İstanbul Teknik Üniversitesi’nin 250.yılında kurulan Bellatrix Uzay Takımı, ismini 250 ışık yılı uzaklıktaki Bellatrix yıldızından almaktadır. Bellatrix Uzay Takımı, İTÜ'de kapsamlı bir uzay ekosistemi kurmayı hedeflemektedir. Bu ekosistem kapsamında roverlar, roketler, uydular başta olmak üzere uzay teknolojileri üzerine çalışarak ulusal ve uluslararası yarışmalara katılmayı amaçlamaktadır. Bellatrix, İTÜ'de ve Türkiye'de uzaya ilgiyi artıracak, ulusal ve uluslararası uzay görevlerinde yer alacak nitelikli insanların yetişmesine katkı sağlayacaktır. Bu hedefler kapsamında Nisan 2024’de takım olarak Amerika'da NASA'nın kendi kampüsünde 30 yıldır düzenlediği NASA Human Exploration Rover Challenge'a katılacaktır. HERC, NASA'nın kendisinin organize ettiği uluslararası öğrencilere açık olan tek yarışmasıdır. Bellatrix Uzay Takımı, NASA HERC’e kabul almayı başaran ilk ve tek Türk takımı ünvanını kazanmıştır. The Bellatrix Space Team, established in the 250th year of Istanbul Technical University, takes its name from the Bellatrix star, which is located 250 light-years away. The Bellatrix Space Team aims to establish a comprehensive space ecosystem at Istanbul Technical University (ITU). Within this ecosystem, it aims to participate in national and international competitions by working on space technologies, including rovers, rockets, satellites, and etc. Bellatrix will contribute to increasing interest in space at ITU and in Türkiye and will contribute to the training of qualified individuals who will participate in national and international space missions. As part of these goals, in April 2024, as a team, they will participate in the NASA Human Exploration Rover Challenge, which has been organized for 30 years at NASA's own campus in America. HERC is the only competition organized by NASA itself and open to international students. The Bellatrix Space Team has achieved the title of being the first and only Turkish team to be accepted to NASA HERC.

METU Vertical Landing Rocket Technologies Club is a student team that started its activities in January 2022 by engineering students who are all seniors at METU. Initially working as the METU-X Rocket Team, the team later became a club that includes different projects related to vertical landing rocket technologies. Our first goal is to develop innovative approaches by conducting research on pneumatic systems, mechanical design, structural analysis, guidance control and autopilot system design, flight simulation, and avionics design in the field of vertical landing rockets and to raise awareness about these technologies. Our second goal is to provide a professional engineering simulation for our engineering candidates in technical and social terms. We are a club where our teammates can determine their areas of interest before graduating, take an active role in studies conducted in different fields, and gain experience as if they were working in a professional company in various different fields, including project management and organization. Our third and perhaps biggest goal is to bring successful and technically capable engineers to our country.

About CMUEC Sakarya Üniversitesi bünyesindeki Center for Materials Under Extreme Conditions (CMUEC) olarak odak noktamız net: Malzemelerin sınırlarını zorladığı en sert koşullar için çözüm üretmek. Sadece laboratuvarda kalan teorik araştırmalarla değil, havacılık, savunma ve metalurji gibi kritik sektörlerin gerçek dünyadaki "yüksek sıcaklık" ve "korozyon" problemlerini çözmekle ilgileniyoruz. Neler yapıyoruz? Gelecek Nesil Kaplamalar: Seramik Matrisli Kompozitler için çevresel bariyer kaplamalar (EBC) ve yüksek sıcaklık oksidasyonuna dayanıklı TBC sistemleri geliştiriyoruz. Yenilikçi Sentez Yaklaşımları: Mikrodalga ile tetiklenen SHS reaksiyonları ve gelişmiş seramik işleme teknikleriyle, geleneksel yöntemlerin tıkandığı noktada yeni rotalar oluşturuyoruz. Fotonik ve Lazer: Lazer uygulamaları için şeffaf seramikler üzerinde çalışarak optik ve malzeme bilimini birleştiriyoruz. Üretimden Uygulamaya: APS (Atmosferik Plazma Sprey) gibi endüstriyel yöntemlerle laboratuvar çıktılarımızı gerçek parçalara dönüştürüyoruz. CMUEC, yüzey mühendisliği ve ileri seramikler alanında akademik derinliği endüstriyel vizyonla birleştiren bir köprüdür. Yeni iş birliklerine ve ekstrem koşulların getirdiği zorlukları birlikte aşmaya her zaman açığız.
