Vanuatu Rugby League
The Vanuatu Rugby League (VRL) is the single controlling body and National Federation representing Rugby League in Vanuatu. The VRL is recognised by the Government of Vanuatu, the Vanuatu Association of Sports and National Olympic Committee (VASANOC), International Rugby League (IRL) and Asia-Pacific Rugby League Confederation (APRLC) as the National Federation for Rugby League in Vanuatu. The VRL has jurisdiction over all domestic Rugby League played in Vanuatu and the National Team program. Currently the VRL has domestic competitions in the capital Port Vila (Shefa Province) and Santo (Sanma Province). The aim is to expand the game into both Malakula (Malampa Province) and Tanna (Tafea Province). It also aims to set up domestic competitions for females and juniors. The VRL National team has played in 6 Test matches (4 staged in Vanuatu) and International 9's tournament since 2012. VRL representative teams have also completed a tour of Queensland, Australia and played an exhibition game on Suncorp Stadium before an NRL trial game. The VRL's objectives are to : • Promote the game of Rugby League in Vanuatu • Increase participation of those playing or consuming some form of the game of Rugby League as part of a school, club or community program • Invest in the Ni-Vanuatu community to positively contribute to the development of Vanuatu • Provide opportunities and pathways for talented Ni-Van through High Performance programs into semi-professional and professional competitions and programs Vanuatu Rugby League Test Matches: • October 2012 vs Greece (Port Vila, Vanuatu) • October 2013 vs Solomon Islands (Mackay, Australia) • October 2013 vs Niue (Port Vila, Vanuatu) • October 2014 vs Philippines (Santo, Vanuatu) • October 2016 vs Solomon Islands (Port Vila, Vanuatu) • October 2017 vs Solomon Islands (Honiara, Solomon Islands)

Vanuatu Cricket Association
Vanuatu Cricket Association known as the VCA is the governing body for the game of cricket in Vanuatu. The VCA is responsible for the growth and development of cricket in Vanuatu. The VCA is also committed to using cricket as a sport for development to positively impact communities in Vanuatu and also contribute to the development of the Pacific as a sporting region. Vanuatu Cricket will provide a framework through its Domestic Competitions, Development, High Performance and Cricket Promotion programs to enhance and encourage participation in sporting, educational and community activities. On the national scale, the leading sport organization in terms of organizational structure, total number of participants annually, community outreach programs such as the women's island cricket program and the VCA's national teams are the highest ranked national teams globally. On the international scale Vanuatu National Men's team are ranked 29th in the ICC ODI rankings and the National Women's team are ranked 28th in the ICC T20I rankings.

Team Up
Team Up is a sport for development program comprising more than 30 partnerships across Asia-Pacific that are working towards three outcomes: 1. Sport programs attract and retain women, girls and people with a disability, as well as men and boys 2. Sport organisations are safe, inclusive and accessible 3. Australia and Asia-Pacific partners use sport to strengthen relationships and build closer collaboration These three outcomes all contribute to Team Up’s overall goal: Australia-Asia-Pacific sport partnerships support all people to realise their full potential through sport. The first phase of Team Up is centred on six Pacific countries (Fiji, Nauru, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Tonga and Vanuatu) and involves more than 60 partners from 13 sports. Team Up is supported by the Australian Government.
