Brisbane Metropolitan Touch Association
The Brisbane Metropolitan Touch Association is Australia’s largest affiliated touch football competition, with over 7,500 players per year at the venue. Competitions are played five nights per week, with junior boys and girls competitions starting from five years of age, adult social competitions and the rapidly expanding men’s masters competition. The elite Metro Cup competition is also run in the second half of the year with the best players and referees in the world representing their local clubs in our showpiece competition. We also host major events including the annual Queensland All Schools tournament, a 5 day showcase of touch football with over 400 teams competing, along with the Queensland School Sport Touch Championships and Deadly Choices Indigenous touch carnival. Through the hard work of two groundskeepers, the association prepares 7 fully-lit touch football fields at the picturesque Whites Hill Reserve, Brisbane’s only dedicated touch football facility. We are also constructing a brand new maintenance shed and 250kL water tank, and also have plans developed for lighting, irrigation and clubhouse upgrades in the medium-term future. The BMTA Mustangs provide representative opportunities to all age of players, and the association was awarded the trophy for Champion Affiliate at the 2019 Junior State Cup, as well as the inaugural 2019 Queensland State Cup where almost a quarter of all teams competing were representing the association. We have called Whites Hill Reserve home since 1988 and have recently launched our new 3 year strategic plan to ensure we succeed for many more years to come.

UWANFC is one of Western Australia's largest sporting clubs, with over 1500 members of all ages from 4 years old to over 70. Our mission is to provide a place for all to play football and find a place to belong, which we achieve through strong governance, and upholding our values. In 2022, UWANFC was awarded WA Metropolitan Club of the Year, a testament to the hard work of our employees and volunteers. Based in the heart of Perth's western suburbs, the current club is the amalgamation of UWA Soccer Club, and Nedlands Football Club, maintaining our strong connection to both the University of Western Australia, and our local community. Today we participate in the second-tier competitions for both Men's and Women's (State League Division 1 and Women's Premier), as well as many teams across the amateur and masters leagues. In 2022 we launched our Female Football Plan, one of the first of its kind in the area, and saw immediate success with the number of girls members doubling. In 2023, we look to embed these successes sustainably, while broadening the scope of our strategic focuses.

In 1963 the Darwin Sailing Club was formed by a group of dedicated volunteer sailors. From these humble beginnings, the DSC has grown and grown to become one of the busiest, 7 days per week community sporting and hospitality operations in the Northern Territory. Today the DSC has more than members and welcomes more than visitors each year through its doors. Over time the Club’s growth has demanded the Club employ skilled staff to assist in looking after day to day operations. While a number of committed and passionate volunteers continue to oversee the management of the operation, today most of the Club’s services are delivered by paid staff. In a practical sense, volunteer Board, Committee Members and Officers work together with the Club’s paid staff to allow members, their guests and visitors to enjoy the activity of Sailing and the Club’s famous hospitality.

Northcote City Football Club 'hercules'
Northcote City competes in the Victorian Premier League, football's highest tier outside of the Hyundai A-League. Established in 1960 by a passionate group of Greek migrants, the club moved to its current location at John Cain Memorial Park in 1977. The club has achieved significant success since its return to the top flight in 2010, playing off in finals in 2010 and 2012, and winning the Mirabella Cup in 2011. The club continues to grow its participation, with close to 350 juniors from the ages of 7-18 participating in Football Federation Victoria sanctioned competitions.
