Kof City Football Club
Kof City Football Club is a soccer club based in Koforidua, the capital town of Eastern Region in Ghana. The club was founded in 2022 to provide support for young and needy potential football stars. It currently has 45 players, aged 9-12, 13-15, and 16-19, who are grouped into three age group categories. These children are all being cared for by the club. A lot of talent are being wasted due to the non-availability of the needed support to make it as professional footballers. Most of these young players are not able to make a life for themselves and their families, leading to more economic hardship and frustration which often leads to robbery, prostitution, drug abuse, kidnapping and other crimes. It is for this reason that KofCity FC have decided to help with the transformation of aspiring talents to become the best they can be. This project aims to develop and shape needy but talented children in our communities through football and education by providing support for them. This will fulfill our goal of tapping potential and creating a pathway of professionalism for the youth and soccer development in Ghana.
