Eswatini Bridge Project
Bridging the digital divide in the Kingdom of Eswatini. Today only 3 in 10 people around the world have regular access to computers and the internet. That means there are 4 billion people who are digitally excluded. On the continent of Africa only 2 in 10 people have access to the medical knowledge, educational resources, and economic empowerment that the internet provides. It has been said that knowledge is power, and we have all heard that education is the key to a successful future. The internet is the great equalizer because an uncensored internet contains all recorded knowledge in human history. In the developed world that knowledge is usually found in a pocket or purse on a smart phone. The internet is more than Angry Birds and Pokemon Go. It is access to medial information, social inclusion, global commerce, and the ability to learn many skills. The internet is the new printing press. The Swazi Bridge Project was created to bridge the digital divide in the Kingdom of Swaziland. By doing so we hope to help the Swazi people empower themselves. We have offices in Washington DC and Eswatini.
