Mjojo Finance Play
Mjojo Finance Play is a pioneering initiative dedicated to bringing financial literacy to South Africa’s youth through the power of interactive storytelling. Our unique approach dramatizes complex financial concepts like saving, budgeting, entrepreneurship, and smart spending, making them accessible to learners from township, rural, and peri-urban schools. Operating in partnership with Soweto Theatre, we create engaging, impactful performances that reach children who are often excluded from traditional financial education. We provide learners with practical tools, including workbooks and piggy banks, to help them develop positive financial habits that last a lifetime. Our mission extends to empowering learners with special needs, and we are actively developing programs for children with sensory difficulties by working closely with professionals in the field. Through financial literacy, we aim to break the cycle of poverty and enable upward mobility for the next generation. Join us as we educate, empower, and inspire South Africa’s future leaders to build a brighter, financially secure tomorrow.
