NiuPower is a proud PNG company established in 2017 by Kumul Petroleum Holdings and Oil Search (now Santos ASX:STO) on a 50/50 basis. NiuPower operates on a commercial basis, focusing on the development of power generation in PNG fuelled by PNG natural gas. With the creation of NiuPower and the development of the gas-fired Port Moresby Power Station, Kumul Petroleum and Santos directly contribute to the Government’s energy objectives of electrifying 70% of PNG by 2030. NiuPower intends to be an ongoing contributor to PNG’s electrification and industrial development by providing capital and expertise to support the Government’s strategy.

Water PNG was established to rationalize the provision of water supply and sanitation in the urban areas of PNG. Prior to its establishment the water sector was seriously fragmented resulting poor service delivery and no cost recovery. Following the successful passage of the National Water Supply and Sewerage Act in December 1986 Water PNG commenced operations on 1 January 1987 as The Waterboard. It had a name change to PNG Waterboard and recently changed this to Water PNG officially announcing this on December 10, 2010 at the Gateway Hotel in Port Moresby. The corporate governance framework and policy is formulated by the Board of Directors and Management Team in accordance with the functions stipulated in the National Water Supply and Sewerage Act (NSWSS Act) and Government directives.

Enviro Solutions PNG is a newly established nationally owned company, specialized in waste management, commercial cleaning, portable toilets hire, high rise window cleaning & general maintenance. The incorporation of Enviro Solution PNG is the brainchild of the current company directors after many years of pre planning and research. Enviro Solutions PNG was started with the idea to provide a national identity,focusing primarily on waste management, high rise window cleaning and maintenance in PNG, as currently there are few companies’ who are focused on managing waste and the global environmental impact our waste is having on nature. Enviro Solution PNG recognize that while not much work has been going on in waste management industry since independence, qualified support on projects within the country from local Papua New Guinean companies with knowing how to support the industries are very limited. We at Enviro Solutions PNG believe that taking care of the environment (Mother Nature) she will take of us tomorrow. Thus we aim to work together with government bodies and private firms to promote waste management solutions in terms of mitigating and recycling waste.
