Mariborski vodovod (Maribor Water Supply) is a public service provider, owned by the Municipality of Maribor and 15 other local municipalities. The company's main field of operation is water infrastructure management & maintanance incl. collection, purification and distribution of drinking water, providing distribution of more than 13 milion m3 of drinking water annually for more than residents in it's operational area, thus covering 10 % of the entire country. Mariborski vodovod distributes fresh water for more than 120 year (from 1901) and is operating with the largest water supply system in Slovenia. Fresh water is collected from 49 wells and supplied through 1638 km of pipeline. Sklad Nek
Da bi zagotovili potrebna sredstva za razgradnjo NEK in odlaganje radioaktivnih odpadkov iz NEK, je Državni zbor Republike Slovenije leta 1994 ustanovil Sklad za financiranje razgradnje NEK in za odlaganje radioaktivnih odpadkov iz NEK (Sklad). Sklad je bil ustanovljen v posebni organizacijski obliki, kot pravna oseba »sui generis«. Z uveljavitvijo Zakona o Javnem skladu Republike Slovenije za financiranje razgradnje NEK in odlaganja radioaktivnih odpadkov (RAO) in iztrošenega goriva (IG) iz NEK oktobra 2022 je bil Sklad preoblikovan v »javni sklad« (Sklad NEK). Prihodek Sklada NEK predstavlja dajatev, ki jo v predpisani višini plačuje družba GEN energija d. o. o. Za uresničevanje svojega namena Sklad NEK zbira finančna sredstva, jih upravlja ter skrbi za njihovo ohranitev in rast. Sredstva Sklada NEK se porabljajo za- financiranje vseh stroškov dejavnosti razgradnje NEK- skladiščenja RAO in IG po prenehanju obratovanja NEK ter odlaganja RAO in IG iz NEK, nastalih v času obratovanja in razgradnje NEK, katere je dolžna zagotavljati Republika Slovenija v skladu z meddržavno pogodbo med Vlado Republike Slovenije in Vlado Republike Hrvaške- storitve obvezne državne gospodarske javne službe za ravnanje z RAO (ARAO) v delu, ki se nanaša na predelavo RAO in IG pred odlaganjem- priprave na izgradnjo odlagališča- izgradnjo odlagališča- odlaganje RAO in IG, nastalih zaradi obratovanja NEK ter obratovanje odlagališč RAO in IG- plačilo nadomestila za omejeno rabo prostora Mestni občini Krško- stroške poslovanja Sklada NEK. Sklad NEK svoje obveznosti izpolnjuje z odgovornostjo do prihodnjih generacij.

V občinah Črnomelj in Semič izvajamo naslednje gospodarske javne službe opredeljene z Odlokom o gospodarskih javnih službah v Občinah Črnomelj in Semič in sicer- oskrbo s pitno vodo- odvajanje in čiščenje komunalnih in padavinskih odpadnih vod- zbiranje in odvoz odpadkov - urejanje javnih zelenih in ostalih površin v mestu Črnomelj- pogrebno dejavnost v določenih KS občine Črnomelj Dejavnosti izvajamo skladno z usmeritvami in cilji, opredeljenimi v gospodarsko finančnem načrtu ter skladno z veljavnimi občinskimi Odloki za izvajanje posamezne gospodarske javne službe. Poleg dejavnosti gospodarskih javnih služb smo izvajali tudi dela za trg, predvsem gradnje in obnove vodovodnega in kanalizacijskega omrežja, geodetskih storitev, upravljanje parkirišč, upravljanje tržnice, plakatiranje in drugo.
