Wellspring Rehabilitation Centre
Wellspring Rehabilitation Centre is a registered Pentecostal Christian based Rehabilitation Centre for drug dependent persons. It is a registered NGO of the Apapa Family of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Region 20 (Apapa Family). The treatment of drug dependent persons by the Apapa family started out on January 16, 1994 as an outreach to Area Boys called “Jesus Boys and Girls” by the decree of the General Overseer of the RCCG. In 2003, the outreach to dependent drug persons was registered as Wellspring Rehabilitation Centre. Skills acquired include catering, barbing, plumbing, auto-spray / panel beating, hair-dressing, electrical works, cosmetics, shoe-making and poly-nylon works. Some educational skills acquired include S.S.C.E Certificates, Theological Training (Bible College and School of Disciples), Desk-Top Publishing, Office Information Management, Computer Engineering and other higher degrees.
