Since 2006, SOIL has been expanding access to safe, affordable, and restorative sanitation services in some of Haiti's most vulnerable communities. By producing organic, agriculture-grade compost from safely-treated human waste, SOIL is transforming a public health crisis into an environmentally restorative solution. SOIL now serves individuals with safe sanitation services while transforming over 1,300 tons of collected waste into 250+ tons of compost and offsetting thousands of metric tons of GHGs each year.
