The operations of Shakur began initially in Dubai, and then expanded to other areas of the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Bahrain, and beyond. The company was first incorporated in Dubai in 2002 as a trading company for foods and grains. After the success of our business model, in November 2009 we established a subsidiary that specializes in bulk break freight, mainly aid and relief logistics. A revamped business strategy was implemented by the company in 2018 and 2022. Added petroleum and fertilizer products to its portfolio in Bahrain and Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. This has resulted in an increase in our business volume and expanded market reach. The company now has a broader client base, a more talented and diverse workforce, and a regional business model that is integrated across regions. By doing so, we were able to tailor our products and services to suit the needs of our customers.
