SA Peanuts, the largest processor of peanuts in South Africa. With a state-of-the-art, commercial and seed plant for peanuts, in Hartswater, Northern Cape. SA Peanuts offers a competitive advantage! SA Peanuts processes around 15 tonnes of groundnuts per year. The plant has the capacity to process 30 tons per year, which is 50 % of South Africa's total peanut production Not only are we the largest processor of peanuts in South Africa, for the last 15 years, SA Peanuts has continued to conduct trials to improve cultivars by importing and testing varieties from the USA. Over time, SA Peanuts has developed a High Oliec Spanish variety that performs impeccably under irrigation and also areas of dry land farming. This places the farmer in a better financial position due to better yield and grading. These trials are expanded annually and will remain part of SA Peanuts’ vision for the future.
